Goldfish Street (Tung Choi Street)

Reviewed By karenpammy2016 - San Francisco, United States

It was well worth to walk through here at Mong Kok as it is very unusual to see several blocks worth of goldfish /sea creature shops. It is about a 3 block vicinity on both sides of the street on Tung Choi. After you finish visiting the Bird Market and Flower Market-- it will be on your right side. Tons of assorted goldfish in plastic bags hang from hooks on the shop racks for sale. There are also a lot of assorted sea creatures as turtles, frogs, toads, hermit crabs, etc. for sale in tubs. Difficult to make a decision when there are so much colorful fish in front of you! The excitement is vibrant once the sun sets and tons of people (locals) just enjoy coming out here and see all the action in purchasing goldfish!! There are also pet shops that sell small dogs as well as puppies! Very cute at the windows as they are looking for a nice new home!! A very vibrant place to come and stroll even if you don't plan to purchase any goldfish. The crowd is lively and the colors just bring out the energy in the street!!
