Great store for sweatshirts and tee shirts. Brand names like Gear and Champion. Lots of inventory. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent Covid safety measures in place. Open daily in season but has a good web store that operates year round. Reasonable prices. Best selection of baseball caps and bucket hats on LBI.

A family owned and operated business that started in 1952. Now in it's third generation of family members, the Surf City 5&10 has become a staple for beachgoers and tourists in the heart of Surf City. Everything needed for the beach, toys to keep little (And big! ) kids occupied, as well as Salt water Taffy and candy. An enormous amount of beach wear and LBI apparel, jewelry, hats and footwear. With over 12,000 different items, Surf City 5&10 has become LBI's "One stop beach shop" and is now celebrating it's 67th Anniversary!

We opened our door in March 2013 wanting to provide our community & visitors with unique ingredients to make every meal special. We search out small food companies that use good, all-natural ingredients that enhance your meal and make you feel good about what you are eating! Spice It Up offers dried herbs and spices, spice blends, oils, vinegars, baking ingredients, gluten-free items, salts, peppers, and many different types of condiments and BBQ fixings. We also love suggestions, so please share your favorite products & recipes with us! In 2017, we welcomed the new addition--the deli--to bring you delicious, mouth-watering sandwiches and daninis-our version of a panini. We use only the finest & best ingredients and look forward to feeding you & your family!
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful when providing hot sauce and other product recommendations that were delicious! We also ordered several sandwiches, including the indian summer, the zinia vegan, and the chick's special delivery. Each was a good portion size, came with a pickle, and was very tasty! I would particularly recommend the indian summer to vegetarians in the area, as it was filling and so much more creative than a standard grilled veggie sandwich at other deli's. We were then able to walk up to the beach (a quick 5 mins) and enjoy our lunch there. We have already been back again because of our great experience, and have had excellence service during our later trips as well. As an additional note during covid-19: the staff were all wearing their masks properly and politely suggested we wait outside while our food was prepared (smart since it's not a huge store and it was nice outside).

The “Original” Ron Jon Surf Shop opened in Long Beach Island, New Jersey in 1961. Founder, Ron DiMenna, sold surfboards out of that tiny Jersey shore shop, supplying former customers with surfboards to open their own surf shops on the East Coast. Today, the 8,100-square-foot store is a four-level surf emporium filled with a colossal selection of active lifestyle apparel and board sports equipment. It even features one of the world’s largest surfboards (more than 24 feet in length)! Ron Jon, with its signature blue, orange and yellow exterior, is one of the first things beachgoers see when they drive onto Long Beach Island, and it’s the perfect place to stop before stepping onto the beach. Whether you need a new swimsuit, sandals, sunglasses or bottle of sunscreen, you’re sure to find everything you need to enjoy a great day at the beach. Come and see where it all started…
There are many surf shops on the Jersey shore, but Ron Jon is the original. This shop is huge and has plenty of merchandise for serious surfers and casual shoppers.

If you combine Schooner's Wharf with Bay Village next door, you have a great selection of stores to meet the needs of most vacationing shoppers. The wharf is a beachy boardwalk arcade with clothing, jewelry, food, book and souvenir shops. The book store has new & used books. Most hardcover used books by many of the popular authors are available for $5. If you have books to "trade" they give you another 25% off. The bakery has a nice selection of baked goods & candy. My favorite is their "elephant ears" (a large piece of cinnamon flavored dough shaped like an elephant's ear). There's a nice snack bar on the bay side with the usual burgers/fries, etc with an upstairs deck overlooking the bay. Bay village across the street also has a similar mix of shops (one sells great clam chowder), but my favorite stop is the 2nd floor Ship Bottom Brewery. Great selection of craft beers brewed on site. Some of the stores are seasonal, but most are open all year.
