The printmaking Gallery in Zitsa houses a collection of 350 prints which date from 19th century to nowadays. The visitors can see the works of the most famous Greek printmakers and the most common techniques of printmaking (woodcuts, lithography, etching, silkscreens). It is the only Gallery of prints in Greece and it is due to the famous Greek painter Kostas Malamos who collected all the artworks

The most probable scenario however, is that the nickname was given by the city visitors because the locals used to go to the lake to fill their “pagouri” with water.

Divanis Gallery begun its official operation at Metsovo on 31st December 2011 and is specialized in anything related to old Greek art as well as with the branch Islamic art concerning the Ottoman Empire.
