DM Weil Gallery

Available to view Mon - Thurs by appointment. Please call the gallery. At over 3,000 square feet, DM Weil Gallery may be one of the largest modern art galleries in New York's Hudson Valley. Just a short drive from the center of picturesque New Paltz, DM Weil Gallery offers the look and vibe of an exclusive Soho style exhibition space, but with the majestic Shawangunk mountains as a backdrop. The eye-popping abstract creations of acclaimed painter DM Weil -- has been praised by critics and collectors alike, the gallery's mission statement remains, "Why Can't Fine Art Be Fun?".

Do not miss DM Weil gallery if you are in the New Paltz area! Donna's art is absolutely stunning--vibrant, colorful, joyful, radiating light. Donna works on premises and it is so special to hear her talk about her wonderful art on display. Donna, Sammy, and Ken are so sweet and welcoming, as well as incredibly knowledgeable with regards to both the art and the many printing services they do in house. This was a wonderful place to spend the afternoon, not to mention I picked up the most unique hand-painted overalls!

Troy Waterfront Farmers' Market

Reviewed By 800avivac - Rhinebeck, United States

I went to this market in August with my husband and special needs adult daughter. There was something for everyone including music, food, entertainment, and products for almost every interest. Being originally from NYC and Long Island I’ve had my share of street fairs. But this one was not overwhelmingly crowded and without access between aisles, like many of them are...also the shops remain open and accessible for browsing and that made it even more enjoyable. It was like a festival more than a fair..and my only regret is that I couldn’t get back one more time before the season ended...I’ll be back next spring!

I love going to this place & discovering the new products they're selling. Before I go overseas to visit family, I make sure to drop by & pick of some of their fresh baked breads (zucchini, banana, etc). They're a big hit with my relatives.

Dia Beacon

Totally enjoyed Dia:Beacon art installation. Took the train from manhattan round trip.Rail runs very close to the Hudson, so worthy fall journey. Then station to Dia:Beacon by uber/easy. Vast spaces of this old factory held compelling, sometimes odd large scale sculptures in a variety of forms - glass, metal, paintings, rocks, neon etc. The 122 (?) Warhol abstract paintings - something to behold en masse. The natural light from huge skylights highlighted and then subdued the art as the day waned. Worth the journey
