Beautiful little find in downtown Charlotte. The glass art is gorgeous - boasting the talent of Dale Chihuly and Jon Kuhn. And it’s free! Stop in and take in the sparkle and shine.

Beautifully displayed unique gifts are everywhere! Something for everyone on your list. Give yourself an hour for sure and you'll be back. My go to gift store for that special card or gift that you will find nowhere else. The prices are fair for what you are purchasing as many of the lotion lines, candles, etc are on the higher end but there are things to fit every budget. Nice book and gift selection for children and you will stand there and laugh in the "Irreverent section". Buying for office mates is easy and fun. Specialty items abound and if you want to appear smart, pick up one of their coffee table books. I always look forward to and have fun shopping at Paper Skyscraper.

Went to Lunchbox and fell in love with Records again. Bought a Bluetooth record player for the living room and a couple of my favorite albums. The digital age has changed the way we listen to music. It’s refreshing to hear an entire album together and not just the top Radio song from tons of different artists. Plus it makes us get up and put real thought into what we are listening to. Feel more connected to the music. Thanks Lunchbox Records!

We t to a free demo session and was really impressed with the craftsmanship and work done here. My kids and myself and my wife enjoyed a lot seeing the glass sculpture come to life and how complicated the process is.

Upscale shopping district.
This is a fine upscale mall, with many of the stores you'd expect to find only in top malls: Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Tiffany, etc. Plus the expected solid restaurants: Cheesecake Factory, McCormick & Schmick, Maggiano, and lots more. There's plenty of parking, although it can get crowded and you may have to walk a bit from one of the parking stacks. There's valet parking, of course, for $5. Bottom line: the best mall in the area, clean, well run, high quality, good variety of department stores and specialty shops. What more do you want from a mall?? (Oh yes - convenient location. Obviously that depends upon where you're coming from. For me, coming from the Lake Norman area, this is a bit of a hike... but worth it.)
