The largest department store in Russia, dating back to the days of the tsars, is located opposite the Kremlin in Red Square.
Simply vast & amazing. It has everything & more, a vast stunning department store where you can pretty much buy anything, browse for hours, have a tea/coffee & amazing cakes, warm up Great history Everything is laid out so beautifully Just stunning, you could spend days in there

Amazing food market lots of opportunities to try a variety of Russian food among a spattering of international options. Good for a couple of hours of indoor when it’s cold as well. Easy to get to by metro

Great place to feel festive atmosphere. It's not a factory, it's a museum but there is a small room where they will show you how Christmas tree toys are made. It's impossible to visit it without excursion (it was in november 2019) but I guess nothing much has changed. Because there is not a lot of space in rooms and many glass toys which are really fragile. I don't know if the are any English tour guide. At the end of the excursion starting from the beginning of November there is Ded Moroz (Russian Santa Clause) who will dance with you around the tree. Also don't forget to check the shop where you can buy beautiful glass toys. It's outside of the museum. I wasn't there in 2020 (just can't choose another year)
