With its gondolas, canals, amazing restaurants, and unforgettable romantic ambiance, Venice is definitely a city for one's bucket list. Waterfront palazzos, palaces, and churches make drifting down the Grand Canal feel like cruising through a painting. To really experience Venice you must go to the opera or to a classical music performance, nibble fresh pasta and pastries, and linger in the exhibit halls of an art gallery. Label lovers will drool over the high-end shopping in Piazza San Marco.

Since 1980 Venice Atelier specializes in creating handmade paper mache masks totally handmade in the tradition of "Maskmakers Venetians", embellished with precious fabrics, feathers, gold leaf and crystals ...Unique pieces. We also offer a wide range of tailored costumes for adults and children, coats, wigs and shoes, available for rental and sale. We also rent tuxedos.
My husband, who loves photography, and I went to Italy on our honeymoon. Atelier flavia gave us the best souvenir we could ask for - a Carnival themed photoshoot. The owner and her son were extremely accommodating and helpful. The owner was able to take a single look at me, know my size, and find a costune that would fit. We rented the costume for an hour, and the owner's son toured us around to nearby locations for photos. My husband took so many amazing photos of me. It was priceless. I also bought the gorgeous green velvet mask pictured below. It was reasonably priced and exquisitely made.

The art of penmanship is celebrated here with gusto. Handmade marble paper and stationery, journals bound on site with a vintage press, and calligraphy sets serve as unique gifts and mementos.
We have just returned from a short break in Venice. We came across this wonderful shop, selling a terrific range of authentic pens, pictures of Venice and lovely hand made books. The owner Giuseppe could not have been more helpful and kind,( he even gave me a present on my birthday). It’s the perfect place to purchase imaginative gifts to take back from beautiful Venice.

Since the kitchen shop closed near San stae been looking for somewhere to get good equipment. Pastificio meets the bill nicely. Some excellent looking homemade pasta. This visit I wanted a fettuccine roller and a good size round ravioli cutter. Some very good quality ones here plenty of variety. Staff very friendly so even though only spent 10 euro this trip will definitely be back. Some exceptional olive oil.Throughly recommend
