The sun-drenched Canary Islands lie close to North Africa and have an exotic flavor of their own. Hundreds of volcanoes, rolling sand dunes, rich forests and rugged cliffs dapple these seven Atlantic gems. Catch a ferry to Lanzarote. Ride a camel through volcanic Timanfaya National Park. Take on Tenerife, home of Mount Teide, Spain's tallest peak. Romp Grand Canary's beaches or hike La Gomera's Garajonay National Park. More adventures await on tiny El Hierro, verdant La Palma and peaceful Fuerteventura.

This is so worth the visit, it is a huge market so you need comfortable shoes! This is set in a gorgeous location and spread out and not cramped. The stalls are brilliant and have a lovely choice of clothes, handbags, jewellery, shoes, artwork and local made items which are lovely keepsakes. It is impossible to list everything. There are fabulous little shops to explore and super cafes to stop and chill and watch the surroundings, or food stalls with delicious choices on offer. You must visit the little church which is in the centre it is stunningly beautiful and so calm inside. The journey to this market passes delightful scenery and the local people are friendly and helpful.. just remember plenty of money. You won’t be disappointed

Plaza del Duque is the shopping center reference in Tenerife. We offer a unique shopping experience, personal attention and high quality in a pleasant atmosphere of a luxurious architecture. Well-known brands of prestige, and a wide range of restoration waiting for you.
The El Duque shopping centre has been one of the island's premier shopping locations for 15 years. Exceptionally well maintained and air conditioned on the lower level concourse it has a large number of top quality retail establishments as well as a supermarket - Dialprix and cafe bar Premier Coffee and lounge. Ideal, the jewellery and watch retailer has been there since the centre opened and has a good selection of Rolex and other premier brands. There are high end fashion and shoe shops too. I had an excellent burger at the cafe which has friendly staff and plenty of seating (socially distanced and very clean at time of writing). Dialprix is also an excellent, very clean supermarket selling most of what you'll need for day to day living. There is a large Mercadona nearby if you need a bigger shop. My plan was to buy a nice watch but the fantastic location of El Duque and the lovely hotels and clean streets encouraged me to use my "watch money" to stay on another month! Who'd not love being so close to the beach and this lively shopping area!

Great wee shopping centre which was very nice well dressed up for Xmas and new year! Good if you want to do a wee bit shopping whilst your kids can go up and play in the soft play adventure golf area with dad who hates shopping.. Kids loved the adventure golf as it’s full of dinosaurs .. soft play is tiny but in a very well dressed jungle cafe which is worth a look.

Meridiano is an unique space designed to enjoy in the heart of Santa Cruz the best brands of fashion, home and accessories, 11 movie theaters, restaurants, different services, leisure areas and free time, and a large Carrefour hypermarket.
Great shopping centre, where you can find a variety of shops of different brands, even the most famous ones. Its food court is excellent and you’ll be able to choose among different kinds of cuisine, from Asian to grilled meats.

I have been to this market several times now and find it wonderful! Its just such a chilled place to visit. You can eat great tapas (and there is a great selection) and wash it down with a great beer or chilled glass of wine. The market is really near to Las Canteras beach so you have the best of both worlds in this area of the city. Well worth a visit for those who appreciate good food and wine!
