Romance and adventure are in the air on this lush West Indian island in the Caribbean, depending on your coast. To the west, you'll find calm waters and good swimming. To the east, there are massive, competition-caliber waves. Wherever you stay, expect turquoise waters, fine soft sand beaches, catamaran cruises and delicious island fare.

A unique gallery in the beach home of the owner. Enjoy a cup of tea while looking and discussing art in her 1000 square foot patio, her gallery. The artist works from here as well so the process can be easily seen. Because of the natural materials involved in her work it is a true working studio with all the dimensions of such.Very conveniently located for cruise ships and visitors staying in hotels.

We dive a lot, (2 dives/day, 5 days a week, 5 months per yr.) and when our gear needs updating, we go see John! We’ve learned that Hazell’s has very competitive pricing, quality gear & John knows his product. It’s great to no longer bother with the hassle & expense of trying to bring new equipment with us or having it shipped while we’re on island.

What happens when a barefoot artist meets a passionate baker? Deebles Point Art Gallery and Café La Dolcezza. A little off the beaten track, the gallery features the work of owner, Frank Cossey, and other emerging artists. Satisfy your sweet tooth at Café La Dolcezza. A short stroll away take in a view discovered by few - Deebles Point, about 70 feet above the intensely blue Atlantic. Brave the steps down for a breathtaking view of Spring Bay and Ragged Point Lighthouse. Look out for our Artisans' Market hosted at various times throughout the year. Call a day ahead and reserve lunch or dinner. We make custom designed wedding cakes featuring Karlene's hand-crafted sugar flowers for visitor weddings our locals. Orchids and fish are also our family's passion. Drop in for a "lime" sometime and experience our Bajan hospitality!
A delightful day as artist Frank Cossey took us on a tour of his marvellous collection of orchids, exotic birds, coy and tropical fish. The art gallery featuring oil and acrylic creations, brought the east coast of Barbados to life through his paintings. And to top it all off the hospitality shown was extraordinary - the home cooked meal ending with a superb cheesecake dessert was “to die for”. Will be happy to return ASAP.

Beautiful, fully-functional tableware decorated with traditional designs.
Really friendly and helpful staff were very patient with us whilst we painstakingly selected which pieces we wanted to buy (we wanted all of them, but our luggage allowance wasn't up for the challenge!) We think the prices are totally worth it for the quality and originality of the pieces. Lovely surroundings; calm and tranquil away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches and city. A great places to have a lunch after shopping and exploring the amazing local artwork. If you want to take something away from Barbados Earthworks is definitely worth a visit.

A lovely little gallery in their Tides restaurant. Reasonably priced and a very good sample of the fine art available in the area.

It was great to be able to visit diamonds international in Bridgetown Barbados again. Their selection of diamonds and tanzanites, along with an impressive selection of watches makes it well worth a visit to make a duty free purchase. They have an array of franchises to chose from. The manager Oral is extremely professional and offers sound, honest advice.

Fantastic experience with Julie who went above and beyond as we chose an engagement ring. Her knowledge and patience were a great asset and we left with the perfect ring that was sized in 30 minutes. Couldn't recommend enough.
