This is going to be long. I have never been against guns, but I never trusted myself to have one in the house with the kids coming and going. They are going to college and I thought I was ready (I know great timing !) I bought a gun, ammo, eyes and ears and went to Tims !! The first couple of times I went, someone was with me, then I decided I would go myself. The staff is so nice and helpful !! Not once did I feel out of place or unnoticed. One of the staff members even stopped and showed me some tips. They answered my questions and every time when I come out of the range, they ask how it was and (I think) genuinely want to know ! Great customer service, great people, patient, friendly, great hours and easy on my budget ! GO TO TIMS !!

I chose this business after an Internet search to introduce two of my female staff how to shoot semi-auto handguns. The building is very new and clean outside. There is ample parking. The lobby and reception area was immaculate and very well lit. It has a comprehensive hand gun display at the front, and the staff were extremely professional and friendly. They have 6 standard pistol bays, and 6 deluxe bays with moveable target holders. The target range is out to 75 feet, and has full adjustment from 1 to 75. They have a variety of range guns available for rent. We had a very enjoyable experience, and I would most highly recommend this business if you in the New Albany/Louisville area looking for some relaxation!!

I'm completing my 1st year of membership and will renew. I have shot there solo, with my wife, and with a law enforcement friend. I have the luxury of being able to drop by during "off-peak" hours and have never had to wait for a lane. The staff has sold me the ammo and targets I need (cheaper than I can get them at my local gun shop) and given me good advice on things ranging from incomplete shell ejection to how to shoot with continuously variable eyeglasses to how to improve my grip. And they do watch for unsafe practices. I dream of going once and not get called out on simple things, like heading into the range before putting on my glasses and muffs.

Before finding Gunslingers range i was looking for a range on line. Most of the ranges i found were over 25 to 50 miles away from my home and most of them you need to gone there club and pay a fee. My first time there i just walked in and got the range for 1 hour and was shooting within a few minutes. The man working that day had me fill out some paper work and told me how everything worked and the safety rules. Very helpful and friendly.. They have ear, eye, and targets for sale. If you do not bring any with you. You can even rent a gun and the prices are great. I will be going back.
