Nestled in the patchwork foothills of magnificent Kilimanjaro lies the beautiful village of Materuni, home to our Chagga friends and famous for its aromatic, rich coffee. On this fragrant and fun day out you’ll get a chance to make your own cup of coffee the proper way and you’ll find out the secret to the perfect cup of coffee from the local Chagga people. Next you’ll hike the short but challenging route to the Materuni Falls and you can stand under the waters as they cascade into a tranquillity pool that’s safe for bathing. And you’ll want to jump straight in – after getting sweaty (ok, glowing!) from your hike, there’s nothing more soothing than floating in the cool waters. Enjoy your packed lunch before or after your swim – there are no rules!
Inclusions: Coffee and/or Tea, Bottled water, Private transportation, All Fees and Taxes, Professional Guide and His wage

Me and my friends climbed Mount Kilimanjaro via the 6 day Machame route. It was one of the most difficult but at the same time amazing thing I have ever done in my life. The thrill of standing there, at the peak touching the sign saying you have successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro is something I cannot explain as it is beyond words. I would truly recommend Pinnacle adventures and Safaris Co L.t.d to anyone wishing to summit the mountain. Thank you again Pinnacle for giving us the experience of a lifetime!

Kikuletwa Hot Springs also known as Rundugai hot water springs or Chemka hot springs are an unexpected paradise hidden in the desert scrub outside the town of Boma Situated about 71 km from Arusha They are an extraordinary phenomenon, rushing up from underground in the middle of parched and dusty landscape. In fact, the water is not hot rather it is a pleasant temperature! This is a good place to visit for a picnic and a swim too. And the views of Kilimanjaro on a clear day are also fabulous. Unfortunately, the water is full of fluoride which means the local people can’t use it for drinking. The crystal-clear, turquoise waters surrounded by palm trees and winding roots offer a picturesque spot for a relaxing afternoon swim. The spring is actually rather big and over 6 meters deep in some places although you can see the bottom through the crystal clear waters no matter where you are. You can have as much fun or relaxation as your heart desires and your mind and body needs
Inclusions: All Fees and Taxes, Private transportation

You certainly can’t climb Kilimanjaro in a day, but our day tour to this iconic, snow-capped mountain will give you an excellent taster of why Africa’s highest peak is so popular. During the course of the day, we will follow the popular Marangu Route and walk as far as the first hut – the Mandara – where our picnic lunch will be taken. As other trekkers continue upwards, bound for the summit, we will make the descent again and return to Arusha.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi in the early morning for the one-hour drive to Chemka Hot Springs. The road is very bumpy and windy. Do not forget to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the authentic Tanzanian life that unfolds along the road. When we arrive, you are free to be you. Linger at the edge of the springs and enjoy the turquoise waters and lush greenery of the surrounding forest. Swim leisurely or drive lost in thought and listen to the water and birds above you. If you are adventurous, why not play with the rope swing? Playing is not just for kids! The pond is in some places up to 10 meters deep, but the water is so clear that you can see all the way down to the bottom. Eat your lunch in the shade of the trees or, if you are a sun worshiper, find a sunny spot all to yourself. You have plenty of time to discover the surroundings. Maybe you also sight the one or the other animal that also enjoys the Chemka Hot Springs.

This trip was one that I will never forget! I do a lot of travelling and have seen many beautiful parts of the world but nothing will ever quite measure up to this safari experience. Tanzania is so incredible but the tour with Moonlight Tours Expedition is what really made the trip as amazing as it was. Our guide was so knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us so we could see everything we wanted to. We saw literally everything from adult lions, baby lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, and so much more. You name it - we saw it. They really went above and beyond to meet our needs from arranging our covid tests, picking up items that we discovered we needed along the way but had forgot and made sure everything was nothing less than perfect for us this entire week. I will 100% be coming back to do another tour with this company on my next trip to Africa. Highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed :)
