For our first day in Rio we went on an afternoon cruise of the harbour with Daniel and his team and it couldn’t have been better. They were the most brilliant hosts, safety conscious, knowledgeable on city geography and history and the catering was as good as any restaurant on land.

You should know that the airport is far away If you stay in rio from 1h30 to 2 h And if you expect a romantic fly be sure your are alone in the helicopter or you will live the terrible experience of a Instagram girl taking photo of a sell seating in the front all the time during the trip

Our fleet of bicycles is changed at most every 1 year and we have mountain bikes in 5 different sizes, XS (small), S (small), M (medium), L (large) and XL (extra large). All bikes for rent are Specialized model Rockhopper, rim 29. This grid serves people between 1.45 meters up to 2.10 meters in height to pedal on trails between 5 and 12 km in length, which can be traversed from 50 minutes to 2 hours. The Cachoeira Trail is the most sought after route, it takes approximately 1 hour between round trips to be traveled.

The park offers more than 40k of trails for mountain biking. From beginners to experienced is easy to have fun. I had no previous experience and biked for 2 hours. The staff is top. Everyone well prepared. The equipment is new and with high quality. I'd do it again for sure! Important to high light that is a risky activity. Please be aware of your limits.

We got a taxi from Gran Melia to the airport. As long as you ask for a taxi with credit card access you get it. Ask the price first as they are pretty consistent.
