O Museu Egípcio Canela, recentemente inaugurado em Canela, na Serra gaúcha, com caráter permanente. A sua imponente fachada com as características colossais dos templos do Antigo Egito, atrai a atenção e surpreende adultos e crianças. Conta com um maravilhoso acervo, o maior de América Latina, de peças egípcias, produzidas pelo artista plástico egípcio Essam Elbattal, entre as quais podemos destacar a Pirâmide com mais de 8m de altura com câmara mortuária no seu interior, ambientada segundo os antigos túmulos egípcios, com as paredes e teto decorados com imagens e hieróglifos, múmias, sarcófagos, esculturas de deuses, faraós, coleção do faraó Tutankhamon e muito mais; tudo distribuído num ambiente temático de mais de 1000m².
