The Experyment Science Centre in Gdynia is an interactive exhibition that offers education and creative entertainment. It is a modern scientific and educational playground for amateur explorers and the “learning through fun” philosophy followers of all ages. Each exhibition constitutes a unique opportunity to experience and understand common phenomena through simple, safe and amusing experiments. Visiting the Experyment is a marvelous opportunity to spend your time with family in a creative way.
We spent more than 4 hours there, my daughter wanted to stay longer but we have to go to the next museum. She has great fun and the mom can rest comfortably there as well. You can bring your own snacks but they also have small kiosk where you can drink or eat small snacks. For very small kids can also enjoy, there are something really like normal playground for instance slide. Or some experiments with lego. Some experiments are really educational, like drinking car in normal and drunk mode, so children can learn after alcohol should not drive. Smoking will damage the lung; water is very important for human body....All are very educational. I recommend you must go there with your kids. We went to the science center in Warsaw, they both have something similar. This one is smaller and cheaper. You don’t have to book ticket in advance. It is just 2 mins away from SKM station.

This place was on our must do list as we have to kids (12 and 4, as well as an 8 month old) that really enjoy hands on exhibits. The center is split up into different "sections" with a different theme. Each of the themes had a number of different hands on exhibits that demonstrated a wide variety of scientific/environmental principles. We probably used about 3 hours here but could have spent a lot more time if the youngest didn't need a break. The area around the center is also fascinating and I would have definitely enjoyed exploring the area more if I got the chance. We would come again if we are ever in Gdansk again.

There's several parts to see here all arranged around a large courtyard. Big brick built tower on one side, great views from the top, old granary and administration building opposite. Includes a piece of wall painting by Copernicus himself from his 5 years spent here.
