Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir, islands in Fateh Sagar Lake, are the site of Udaipur Solar Observatory and Nehru Garden. Famous palaces include the magical Lake Palace, now a luxurious five-star hotel, and the massive City Palace on Pichola’s east bank, featuring epic courtyards and stunning paintings.

Ek means 'one’ while ling means 'lingam or the life-giving a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva'. The Eklingji Temple, one of the popular pilgrimages of Rajasthan is located at a distance of 22 km away from Udaipur. It was initially built by the then King of Udaipur Bappa Rawal, on the side of 72 rooms Jain temple which housed a four-faced statue of Adinath, the first Jain Saint. It stands with the great historic significance dedicated to Lord Eklingji, the benefactor deity of the Mewar clan.
was fortunate to find the temple open and get a Darshan of The Great Ascetic God “ Shiva “ : the temple is so calm and calming , almost like getting into a Trance in His Presence

Jagdish Temple is a very famous Hindu temple situated in the middle of Udaipur. This major attraction is devoted to Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe
The entrance looks like the stairway to heaven. As you walk up 32 marble steps you get a view of the surrounding buildings and kind of get the feeling of floating. Jagdish consists of three stories of hand carved stone, with a steeple nearly 79 feet high and is the largest temple of Udaipur. The temple sanctum has an idol of the deity Lord Jagannath /Lord Vishnu carved out of a single black stone. The entire temple is intricately carved.

This shrine is dedicated to Neemach Mata Devi. There is also an idol of Lord Ganesh and three west-facing lions made of stone. The temple is located on the top of a green hill in the Dewali, and spellbinds every tourist with panoramic view of Udaipur city. You have to climb up 850m via Stairs. We had climbed this temple in early morning to see sunrise. Air was very fresh on the top and the view was mind blowing. One can have very beautiful view of whole city and its lakes from the temple as well as while climbing. The walk is pollution-free as no vehicles can enter in the hill boundary.

Karni Mata Temple is located on the Machla Magra Hills, which is located near Doodh Talai Lake. It is 4 km away from Udaipur Railway station and Central bus stand and about 24 km away from Udaipur Airport. This temple is also known as Mansapurna Karni Mata Temple. This temple was built by Maharana Karan Singh between 1620 to 1628. There are 2 ways to reach this temple. 1. The Sahastra Bahu Temples are some of the best preserved pieces of temple-architecture I've ever seen. They are not functioning Hindu temples, but those that have been preserved for historical significance. The level of detail in the carvings are astonishing. The entire temple is made of unpolished marble and was constructed using an interlocking system. The site has been taken over by the Archaeological Survey of India and it shows as it's been very well maintained. I highly recommend a visit to this site
