Sydney offers plenty of historical and contemporary Australian flavor. The marvelous Sydney Opera House looks like a great origami sailboat, floating peacefully in a harbor. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets of The Rocks and then take in a street performance on the Circular Quay before heading into the Museum of Contemporary Art. The views from the Sydney Tower Eye observatory are epic – use this chance to get to know the layout of the city from high above.

Played the Lost Mine and it was mentally challenging but fun! Missions need a bit of thinking to complete and it was thrilled with some dispense. If you need a bit of help throughout, you can always call the game master and Lily will give you some awesome tips. Definitely would recommend

I did the Supercell last night with a group of friends (almost all of us first timers to escape rooms) and we had the best night here. The room was challenging without getting frustrating and we all had a lot of fun working together (we escaped as well! Which was super exciting for all of us haha). Our host for the night was James and he was brilliant, explained everything really well and was super friendly, really set a positive mood. For this room he had control of when/if we got clues and they were always really well timed and dropped just regularly enough to keep us progressing. Definitely recommend this place, we couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the night and all want to go back and try the other rooms :D

Escape rooms are live-action strategic games, where players work in teams to discover clues, solve puzzles and accomplish tasks in order to successfully reach the goal in a limited time. Real-life escape rooms are a fun new entertainment concept. It is a type of physical adventure game in which a small group of friends are placed in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve it.
‘The Ransom’ is the newest of the four escape rooms currently offered by Social Escape. We did it as a group of two (not recommended due to the multi-linearity nature and number of puzzles, but doable) and escaped with 15 minutes to spare. The theming was fantastic and we felt instantly transported the moment our game-master left us to our own devices (you’ll know what I mean once you’ve done the room, it really was very clever and I’m still smiling about it). The puzzles flowed well, were innovative in design, and there was good mix of mechanical and traditional locks. Cannot fault it, top marks!

An immersive and original vintage escape room in Sydney! With unique games filled with bespoke puzzles (we build everything ourselves by hand!), can you escape in time? Second location now open: 31-35 May Street, St Peters, NSW 2044
Cipher room is amazing! There is such a high attention to detail put into everything here, from the atmosphere they create with the lobby’s decor to the confirmation email to the design of the rooms themselves. We played the Cabin and it had such a great array of puzzles and the room felt real. Our game master Tom was so lovely and knowledgeable and spent so much time talking to us about the rooms after our game which was greatly appreciated. And we loved the system of getting a pin to say you completed the room! We will definitely be back to finish our collection ☺️

Lots of laughs with friends playing through the Cosmos adventure. The problem solving was decently challenging, and the experience very immersive - though a little bit short for the group of us. This was fine though, the attendee let us play through a shooter game in the foyer for the remainder of our booked session. Also, the complementary tea and coffee was a really nice touch.

Prepare to be surprised, amazed and entertained in this new and immersive escape room located in Redfern, Sydney. 'The Forgotten Son' is the first room of four to be available for bookings. Ideal for friends, family and corporate events.
We recently got engage at Expedition Sydney! My girlfriend and I have been doing escape rooms since we first got together and I thought it would be a good surprise. The staff was amazing and definitely went above and beyond to make the proposal a truly memorable one. They opened the room over the holiday period especially for us!!!!! A special thanks to Lindasay, Damien and Lee On who worked behind the scenes to organize and make things run smoothly. We also really enjoyed the room – good puzzles with mechanical locks which we much prefer compared to locks and keys.

Experience one of the best entertainment game newly opened in Sydney! Ice Break Escape Room is a real-life puzzle-solving game. Step into the new world od escape experience!
Ice break escape room was super fun! The story was cute (Silent escape room), the riddles/puzzles were challenging but solvable and if you get stuck you get a clue :-) The decor was really cool (sort of dark & magical, which suits the story). If you struggle with night vision you may want to try one of the other rooms (I haven't done them yet, so don't know what they are like) as it is quite dark in "Silent".
