Can you break into the world’s most heavily guarded vault?
Our family (with an 11 and 15 year old) has become obsessed with escape rooms. We love puzzles and being challenged and pride ourselves on having escaped all but one room (one of our first) and we’ve done almost 15 including Florida, Michigan, UK, and now Amsterdam. The two rooms here, The Architect and The Vault, are by far the best rooms we’ve ever done! After escaping The Architect (with barely over a minute to spare), we even changed our train departure to be able to do The Vault. It did not disappoint! Things we loved: Clear story even including some role playing by the hosts to really feel immersive. Huge rooms with a lot of atmosphere making it feel real and more exciting. The location is so cool and makes incredible use of the old building it’s in. Great puzzles with a wide range of types so you aren’t just unlocking 50 combination locks to escape. (We’ve done rooms like that and it gets very annoying and boring quickly). Puzzles that really force the team to work together even doing different things to ensure everyone is involved. Hosts that really make you feel a part of something special (the young gentleman who hosted us on July 19th at 10am for the Vault was absolutely FANTASTIC and we had a blast working with him. I wish I would have gotten his name so I could include it here.). Location is easy to get to in the center of Amsterdam. Cons: Only one: they only have two rooms. ???? I really can’t say enough good things about this place. If you like puzzles, like to be challenged, and want a great time then come here!

I played there both virtual reality games, Zombie warriors and Shmooter and had an amazing experience! Equipment is top notch and the people working there are very friendly and helpful. I really didn't expect that it will feel so realistic and exciting. After this experience playing normal games is just boring :) I highly recommend to give them a visit, you definitely wont regret it!

Title says it all! I’ve done many escape films in my time and this one was by far the best. Super fun puzzles, amazing decoration and theme and cool photo and recap video at the end! The guy who hosted it was so lovely and the whole room had us laughing from start to finish. Unique and original escape room. A must do!

The Amsterdam Catacombs is a large, extremely thematic and story-driven experience - more than simply an escape room - with some unique puzzles, top-notch sets and props, and more than a few unexpected scares, set in the tunnels beneath a historic church in downtown Amsterdam. Our virtual guide (Professor David Fimblewood) was a charming and believable character as well as being our eyes and ears, and we had a great time from start to finish. HIGHLY recommended to play in person if you ever chance to visit Amsterdam, but the virtual version is brilliant as well, and well worth your time and money!

100 years ago, the Rozentheater was Amsterdam’s first megabioscoop, a 1000 seat movie palace with two balconies and a state of the art projection booth. For the roaring 20’s and beyond, the people of de Jordaan, sat spellbound in their seats while the mighty projector shined fantasy on the silver screen. Your journey will begin in the projection booth. Start the projector and enter the movies!
An escape game that reaches over several floors and contains elements of classic movies and special effects. Loads of fun to play, and very exciting, even if it's just two of you (like in our case). Excellent performance by our operator Naqia, who made us feel like we were in a movie. There are some scary parts, but our operator took well care of us so we could enjoy them. Highly recommend checking it out!
