Return To Paradise Resort, winner of the 2019 Supreme Award of Excellence, is on a spectacularly beautiful private beach which was selected for the Hollywood movie Return to Paradise starring Gary Cooper movie 1954. With white sand and a rich coral garden, but just 25 minutes drive on a sealed road from the International Airport, the feeling is of being transported into a Samoan village. The Resort is owned and operated by a large extended Samoan family who have been guardians of this land for hundreds of years which makes it the only larger resort in Samoa that is still in Samoan hands. Selected for Masterchef NZ 2014 and holder of the Prime Minister's Cup for best culinary dish, the international and local team of chefs create world class dishes with a tropical twist. Dine with stunning views in the Rock Pool Bar, or amongst the spectacular carvings of Fine Dining Paradise Kitchen, or by the pools in the Cabana Cafe, and enjoy a range of signature cocktails, all served by an extended family who feel genuine priviledged to serve you. There a wide range of ethical local tours available including swimming with turtles in a secret location, and snorkelling in the village's own giant clam reserve. Open daily for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Day guests are welcome and may swim at the beach if dining in the restaurants. A romantic and picturesque wedding location with a spectacular marble chapel and a dedicated wedding coordinator. Come as a guest, and leave as a part of the family.
fabulous people. Great location, Very community-minded. The staff were sincere in their approach to life and work. Sadly we had to move to tonga before the planned return trip was enacted. Both my wife and I are ever so grateful we found the spot.

A boutique resort situated on a beautiful sandy beach surrounded by a lagoon with sparkling clear warm waters, safe for snorkeling and swimming. Bungalows are self contained with some cooking facilities, catering for families, singles or couples. All have outdoor showers enclosed within the bungalow to enable you to have a shower under the stars. Restaurant is on the beach also for those pina coladas or cold beers while you watch the magical sunsets for which this area is renowned.Resort has a glass bottom boat and fishing charters with fishing gear provided operating from the beach. the resort provides filtered and ultra violet treated safe drinking water straight from the taps within the accommodations. That water is provided also to the villagers free of charge to reduce any sickness. The septic system is an evapo-transpiration system which prevents any leakage into our beautiful lagoon. The coral in the lagoon includes brain coral some of which is about one thousand years old.
We booked 3 units last June 2020 and had the most incredible week swimming in the most amazing beach, rooms were a great size with beautiful views of the ocean and the food was great especially fresh fish and fruit. The staff were so humble and really looked after all of us. We have again booked 3 units for next week, 22nd May for a week but due to the coronavirus we unforutunately cannot cross the border into Samoa. Please would the Manager reply to the repeat emails I have been sending to change dates and contact Hotel.com. Regards Deborah - New Zealand

The place is perfect for family getaway, various activities for the family and the pool is great. The only upset was the Christmas Dinner as I was told when making our booking that it was a buffet dinner, but it wasn't, so the money paid for the dinner was not worth the food we expected for that price. Staff were nice and we do look forward to coming back again ? Suggest having a TV in the rooms for the news to watch and relax after a day in the sun!

We are located on the white sandy beaches of Manase, on the Island of Savaii. Our Villas, Suites and Euro Fales are just steps to the ocean’s edge and our restaurant, bar and function fale are situated within the tropical garden on the inland side of our property. With so many options, you're sure to find something that meets your needs and budget. Traditional materials are used throughout the resort to create a rustic appeal in our Villas, Euro Fales and the Restaurant. Stevenson’s Luxury Suites have modern samoan decor, using bright colours fused with old-world Samoan carvings, tapa designs and exquisite lava rock. Stevensons is the ideal spot for honeymooners and those seeking peace and quiet – swim or snorkel in the cool, clear blue water or simply relax on the beautiful white sandy beach and listen to the gently lapping waves. Simply paradise!
The atmosphere was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and the service was fantastic. My family had a blast, kayaking and enjoying the beach and the pools. The beds very comfortable and the air-con was heaven sent. The foods at the restaurant was delicious quite pricey but to be expected. If I'm in Savaii again I'll be back still at the non peak season tho because it was nice and quiet.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights and truly, we wish we had longer! The views are absolutely exceptional, and the atmosphere was so lovely, nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Apia. We were always greeted with a smile and warm welcome by everyone that worked here, and were invited to join in for a traditional Samoan cookup (umu lunch), which will be an everlasting experience I’ll remember. Thank you so much to everyone at the lodge, for their hospitality, kindness and allowing us to have such a memorable time. We will be back again!! Also, their pets are wonderful and I became obsessed !!

Beautiful location and the Fales were well presented and tidy. Traditional food supplied. Resort right next door for some cocktails if you are wanting to indulge. We were there mid May and it was super quiet.

My mates and I went over on a 13 day surf trip to Salani Surf Resort. Easy 5 hr flight there and then about an hour drive by tour bus to the resort. Once we got there we were greeted by Jesse the manager and with his wife Em and little fella in toe, we were greeted with warm smiles and hospitality. Great little set up with compfy rooms, Good beds, Good big servings of food and cold beers after a long day surfing. The surf break out the front is Salani right and the more fickle Salani left. The right we surfed from 2 ft to 6 ft and didn't disappoint. On the days when the wind didn't favor Salani, the guys took us to other surf breaks around the island. There wasn't 1 day we didn't score waves. The surf guides were great, especially Junior who I think just woke up stoked everyday regardless of the waves. Between Jesse and the guides, they always did their best to put you in the right conditions. The breakfast was continental, the lunch was always plenty as was the dinner. A small bar and a good pool to laze around in between surfs. The rooms were cleaned daily but I would recommend you bringing your own pillow if you like sleeping on your own. Also the roosters and local dogs can be a bit noisy if your not used to it so some ear plugs are good too. Bring reef booties. You will need them, especially at low tide. Very humid and hot so bring a refillable water bottle as thete is filtered fresh cold water at the bar and plenty on zinc and sunscreen. It was an awesome surf trip and to be able to surf uncrowded waves with just you and your mates is pretty special. I would say it's more for surfers, but there were surfers with their wives/ girlfriends who didn't surf who still enjoyed themselves. Lot's of sightseeing on the lay days and the island is beautiful to drive around. Thanks to Jesse, Junior, Freddie and Nina and all the other people that made this trip so great. We will be back again. Yeeeweeeeee

We did stop by at random, but enjoyed the place so much that we returned several times in the same week. Great beach, awesome lawn right by the beach to lie down, bar behind you. This time we did not actually stay overnight as we had other accommodation pre-booked. However, next time we will definitely be staying here and enjoy the water, sun and vailima.
