I have never seen that many people there and it took over an hour to get any food and 30 minutes to get a 10oz drink. Trash everywhere from mask to plastic cups. The pool was green and nasty looking, we never used it. We were going to stay 3 nights and left after two the second night we had to have food from the menu that you have to pay for. Not many using thongs and just grabbing food. I think they are bussing in people for day pass use. Total waste of money.

Very relaxed atmosphere, clean and cosy. Good breakfast and great outside pool. Rooms have all the basic comforts, good bed, airco and an individual balcony to hang out and relax. Raysa and Mirko are the perfect hosts! A bit off the beaten track, but perfect if you look for quiet

Staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Good nutritious, fresh meals at reasonable price. Fresh squeezed orange juice with breakfast included in room price. Delicious lobster and shrimp meals. Excellent New York strip steak dinner. Beautiful well kept grounds. Crystal clean swimming pool with access to the ocean. Unfortunately no beach however other beaches were a short walk nearby or by taxi for $.75 cents to other side of island. Nice freshly painted room, A/C, hot water and comfortable king size bed. Highly recommend.

Marina Puesta Del Sol is a secluded resort surrounded by nature and peaceful setting. I imagine that a few years ago this place was the centerpiece for boat/yacht owners to gather for merriment. Today, the place has not been kept to its best. The staff is amazing! They will do whatever it takes to make the guests happy. The location is awesome. I recommend but would tone down the "luxury" expectations.

This hotel is part of the Playa Hermosa Surf Camp. 3km of gorgeous private beach is your front yard. 4 rooms with 5 beds each and 4 x doubles upstairs. Surf, horseback ride on the beach, or just relax on the beach where Survivor Nicaragua was filmed...
Playa Hermosa Ecolodge is absolutely gorgeous and I highly recommend staying here! The proximity to the beach is unbelievable, step outside the lodge and you are right there. It was one of the most beautiful places I stayed in Nicaragua. There is nothing else around the ecolodge so you feel very peaceful and close to nature, a really unique experience. The staff are wonderful and Levi, the manager, was very welcoming and very helpful with any requests. I can't say enough great things about this place!

Paraiso Beach Hotel is a well known Corn Island resort, able to accommodate 40 people in 15 rooms, all decorated in traditional Nicaraguan style. They are made to make you feel right at home and all accommodations are about 70 to 120 meters from our beach. All rooms have hot water, AC, TV and super comfrotable beds. Right in front of Paraiso’s beach it’s very good snorkeling, even for beginners. The sunken ships provide shelter for many different species of reef fish. We organize regular snorkeling trips around Corn Island, to Little Corn Island or to the Pearl Keys. Yoga, cardio, fishing, golf cart tours, diving or biking are all options you might want to explore. Our on-site restaurant “The Buccaneer” offers great fresh food and lobster, shrimp or fish are of course a big part of the menu. We are looking forward to welcome you to undiscovered Corn Island! The owners, Mike and Ton
Rooms were nice but tons of tiny ants. Hotel provided spray to help kill them. Took a while for the hot water to be turned on (several requests). Beds were hard. The beach is across the road and has a small reef so you can't really wade in the ocean. Whole hotel was cute, with every two rooms having their own little hut. Rooms were quiet. Restaurant had good food but small menu compared to other places on the island. Food took forever to get after ordering.

A true nature lover and beach goer treat. Spacious and quiet bamboo cabanas sitting in the jungle canopy above the river showcasing howler monkeys and many varieties of birds and wildlife. Within walking distance of Playa Marsella and Playa Maderas, said to be one of the best surf breaks in Nicaragua. A great place to relax, surf, trek and enjoy the natural beauty that is Nicaragua. We are as close to a nature reserve/eco lodge as can be without going through all the legalities to get the "stamp" of approval. Enjoy personal service and feel like you are at your home away from home. Offering personal service and satisfaction!
Not for everyone, but nice place. Rooms add to a certain "experience". Definitely would be great with a pool. Beach was a 10 minute walk. Owners helped us out of a pickle, wish we we really appreciated. That is the beauty of a small place like this, the owners get to know you and try to help you out.

A friendly & comfortable surf resort just a few minutes from one of Nicaragua's finest surf breaks. The Surf Sanctuary is family owned & operated.
Third time at this incredible place! The Sanctuary is a great escape and place to head for pumping waves. This place and staff are world class. You CAN NOT go wrong with the No Worries Package. As soon as we exited the airport they were there to meet us and grab our gear. Got us to the waves quick fast and in a hurry. Surfed from sunrise till sunset on pumping uncrowned waves. The food was great and the Tońa was ice cold. Can’t thank the staff here enough they always make our stay here amazing. You can be sure you will leave surfed out. Thank you Nancy Tony Rails and Jan for everything and all the other staff that make it possible!

Luc, was undoubtedly genuine, in every word that could come to your mind when u think of words to describe an awesome vacation, He served us like we were the king and queen of the place, as we were he he he,, we showed up on the off season and it was not busy as we did not know end of March is when high season ends. anyway I could go on for hours here so to sum it up short, -took us out 3 times on his side by side to look at numerous property's inside and out, he arranged a taxi to pick my brother up at the airport as I did not want to drive my rental car in the dark, (dangerous) and got us a wicked deal, not saying how much it was, oh and OMG, his wife's pizza is to die for, and I dont know who it was but we had fresh towels and water sitting out side our door a few times and we only stayed 1 nite (would have stayed longer but this was a trip to fiqure out where to buy property in Nicaragua and 8 day was not enough. I think it was luc's wife and Edward the nico' that works at the bar and doing other things around the resort and Edward kept us entertain while we were drinking at the bar, bringing us our breakfast etc. a must place to go if you havent been,we will definitely have to go back.
