Reviewed By closeestThe Dorf Hotel Fleesensee provides excellent accommodation in one or two bedroom fully equipped apartments grouped in a village style. It is a very friendly place and clearly very popular with German families The hotel has many facilities including playgrounds, a small zoo, a carousel, and extensive gardens. The dining room caters for family dining buffet style or for those who prefer it "a la carte". The surrounding lakes have many attractions and can easily be explored by bike from the hotel. My wife and I took our young grandson and we had a wonderful time. The information provided is in German, which we do not speak, but we were always able to find someone to help with any queries.

Super Hotel near to Beach
Reviewed By KMK22864Just returned from a three night stay here (22.08-25.08.19) and were extremely happy with the hotel. It looked as if it had been recently renovated and was very clean and well maintained (thank you Housekeeping!). Our room was large and well fitted with a small pantry. The breakfast was superb and well worth taking your time over. We had top weather during our stay which was even better. The hotel is less than 100m from the beach. We will go back to kuhlungsborn as it is a lovely unspoilt seaside town (no bright lights & Amusement Arcades) but a lovely beach promenade to walk for Kilometers. We can definitely recommend this Hotel and when we return we will go back.

An amazing place, a dog's paradise!!!!
Reviewed By Poseidonia13I knew this place was a dog-friendly resort, but never expected such wonderful and heart-warming welcome and services to pups! Where to start: the eating/drinking bowls and blanket in the suite, dogs are allowed everywhere, in the restaurant, and special dog shower outside the spa! Dog sitter available for the residents! Surrounding areas are great for the pups to play and run free, the resort is open all around the year to visit any time, Breakfast was truly the highlight!!!! All fresh and homemade, so many yummies to choose from. Highly recommended only for dog lovers!!!!!

Reviewed By KirstineAaThis place is great. We absolutely enjoyed it. My mom, sister in law and I went here for a girls trip. The accommodation is very good! The small houses/ apartments have a homey feel. It is clean, spacious and have good beds. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel/ resort is placed amongst beautiful nature and very close to the ocean. I will recommend that you have a car if you go here - there’s free parking. The location makes it easy to get to Rostock city center - without bringing your car with you all the way. Only to the ferry in Hohe Düne. There is a bus to the ferry just outside the reception though. We are already planning to go back in the spring with all of our family.

If you like quiet surroundings
Reviewed By AnnaL_10Van der Valk Naturresort is located amidst forests and a next to a lake. Quiet, peaceful, excellent for hikes in the woods. We stayed at a 6 persons cottage. Good size (3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 couch, 1 relax chair and dining area for 6), contemporary furniture. Remember it’s a holiday home so you will miss some items you’re used to. Who cares, you’re on vacation. Towels for rent, hand soap in the cottage. We even had dish towels, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper. Some groceries can be bought at the reception. Otherwise supermarkets a 20 minute drive. Restaurant, swimming pool in the main building. We booked half board. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Plenty to choose from. Waitress a bit grumpy. Diner a three course menu and there really was plenty to choose. Tasteful and good portions. Only one night wasn’t as good as the other nights. Probably the regular chef on weekend leave. Nice waitresses. Dogs welcome in the resort (€10 per night) except during breakfast and the hotel suites.

Relaxing hotel in a nice location
Reviewed By partyof5travelWe stayed at the Inselhof VINETA for 3 nights. We enjoyed our peaceful, relaxing stay here. I was traveling with 3 children and found this hotel treated my children very well. Each morning during breakfast we had the same cheerful server who would greet my children and bring them hot chocolate. During our evening meal the waiter brought our children bubbles. It really felt like we were staying with family or friends rather than a hotel, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook or prepare picnics to go if we wanted. Grocery stores are plentiful and there are several to choose from nearby. We received beach passes for a beach nearby but despite placing the parking pass we were given on our car dash, we still received two parking tickets, which was confusing. Despite that, the beach was perfect. This hotel also has a wellness center with fitness center, sauna and jazuzzi spa, which we didn't use. The children enjoyed the bounce house and playing at the on site parks. Breakfast in the morning is one of the best I have had at a hotel. This was an all around good choice and I highly recommend staying here,
