Book the designer Radisson Blu Hotel in Frankfurt's Bockenheim district, for stylish rooms and suites close to Frankfurt Messe and the city center
Comfortable with pool and sauna on the upper floor. Not much to do in the area. Not situated in the busy city center. Affordable. The sink in my room had clogging issue, and the lobby could have been cleaner. But other than that, it was a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was also good.

We stayed in the castle themed part of this complex. Facilities are fairly basic but clean and the themed decoration is great for kids. Very well organised reception, and good easy start for visiting the theme park. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Only minor point us the large canteen breakfast room is not very cosy.

Blending harmoniously into its natural environs, Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden lies 1,000 metres (3,281 feet) above sea level on Eckerbichl. Views of the Alps stretch in every direction, with Mount Watzmann striking an impressive pose. Lake Koenigssee, the historic Dokumentation Obersalzberg and the city of Salzburg are a short drive away.
We had wanted to visit Kempinski Berchtesgaden for a number of years but we saved the trip until this year especially for our 10 year anniversary and it did not disappoint!! The customer service was 5* from start to finish. Anything that we wanted help with from airport transfers to car hire, to bus routes, the staff were always so helpful and friendly. I have a severe nut/peanut allergy and all of the bar and restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating and reassuring and even knew which room I was staying in which was very impressive. There was nothing that the staff at Kempinski Berchtesgaden couldn’t do for us. We were welcomed with a smile and all of the staff were so polite and happy to be at work (who wouldn’t in such a beautiful setting and hotel?!) The hotel/spa and hotel grounds were unbelievably beautiful. We stayed in a Mountain View Room, we have stayed in many luxurious places but the view from our room has got to be one of the best that we have ever seen. As we first entered our spacious and immaculately clean room, it had rose petals scattered in the bath and on our bed as we had told them about our anniversary and a gorgeous mousse dessert on the side for us. The food and drink was excellent. The breakfast buffet had a wide spread of choice from cereals to fruit and yoghurts to salmon, sausages, bacon and eggs. Plenty of juices and smoothies and a wide choice of tea and coffee available too. We ate at the Bergstüberl restaurant where we were served meat, fish and vegetables on a hot stove in a cosy and rustic atmosphere. Again, the food was outstanding. We will never forget this trip and our experience at Kempinski Berchtesgaden - especially as my partner also proposed to me at the beautiful site of Lake Konigssee (only about 5 miles away) We would love to visit again in the future and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Special mentions to Hanna, Julia, Natalia and all of the bar staff at the Lobby Lounge and Kaminbar, and the lovely lady on the desk who welcomed us every morning at breakfast. Thank you for making our stay the best. Until next time… Chloe and Jack.

Discover the world while visiting the legendary Hotel Atlantic Hamburg, Autograph Collection, offering breathtaking views over Lake Alster, two restaurants featuring cuisine from all over the world.
We only had breakfast, did not spend the night. Very classy foyer and breakfast room, linens and fantastic service you expect from a top class hotel and very nice choices for a lavish breakfast. Perfect if you have the time to indulge for breakfast or take someone for a special treat. We had no reservation but still got a table for 3 mid morning. Considering the place - I think good value. Check out the courtyard when there! Only "negative": The orange juice was NOT freshly pressed, which was surprising, as you seem to get real time pressed fresh orange juice for about 4 Euros just about anywhere in Hamburg.

Travemunde - Lubeck's most beautiful daughter.Clad in elegant white, the A-ROSA Travemunde perfectly embodies the summery freshness and flair of the traditional seaside resort. The listed former spa hotel appeals on account of its scenic location on the Brugmanngarten, not far from the promenade. It has magnificent views across the sea and natural park through its large arched windows. Hours spent daydreaming in a beach chair, a stroll through the old town, active relaxation through sports or the SPA - here, on the outskirts of Lubeck, it's always feel-good season.
My wife and i went to A-ROSA in travemunde for a 3 day stay. It was a mixed experience at best. Immediately arrived at the hotel we went to the SPA to book massages for our stay. This was just not possible ! The staff insisted the SPA was open and the massages could be booked - but we failed to have even one - first available timeslot was 3 days later - when our stay was over. The area of the SPA was indeed open, but in hindsight we recognized disorganized staff and not "traffic" in the massage and service area. The most irritating part is really that staff insisted that all we asked for was available - when it was so clearly not. All in all a huge disappointment - and not to be recommended. Restaurants, food, bar was good - with good service and kind staff.

I gave this five stars mainly based on the wellness centre - most impressive. At least 6 different saunas, 2 indoor pools as well as the usual massage facilities. All included (apart from massage etc) in the price of the room. The hotel is situated in the middle of the small town - pleasant to walk around and lots of longer walks available from the hotel into the Harz National park. The rooms are alright - looking their age a bit and could do with some refurbishment. A few fittings in the bathroom were poorly maintained. Quite hard mattress but nevertheless comfortable. The personel were efficient and fairly friendly. I woouldn't class this as a 5 star hotel, it lacked the feeling of 'exclusivity' that such hotels are keen to foster - it's the little things that were missing/strange, e.g. battery operated candles throughout the hotel! Perhaps having some nuts along with the drinks at the bar; no champagne available. Breakfast was good, some pleasant home made salads and cakes/biscuits were a nice touch.

Great hotel with a smaller SPA, not crowded, great personnel!! Very good breakfast, wide choice of different styles. We had a good long weekend and will come again! The only negative comment would concern the Spanish restaurant - very long waiting for pre-ordered dish and a lack of choice for different dishes. The second restaurant had also a very limited choice.

The Dorf Hotel Fleesensee provides excellent accommodation in one or two bedroom fully equipped apartments grouped in a village style. It is a very friendly place and clearly very popular with German families The hotel has many facilities including playgrounds, a small zoo, a carousel, and extensive gardens. The dining room caters for family dining buffet style or for those who prefer it "a la carte". The surrounding lakes have many attractions and can easily be explored by bike from the hotel. My wife and I took our young grandson and we had a wonderful time. The information provided is in German, which we do not speak, but we were always able to find someone to help with any queries.

Treat yourself to a break from the everyday grind and enjoy an unforgettable short break with your family in Phantasialand! Ling Bao is a Chinese theme hotel that has been completely built according to the principles of Feng Shui and is therefore the ideal spot to relax and recharge your batteries. The rooms and suites have been furnished in a traditionally Asian style. Each room is completely unique! Dare to take a brave leap into the refreshing water of the heated indoor and outdoor pools. The massages and the body and facial treatments will bring your mind and body back into harmony. Our chefs from the Far East use fresh ingredients to create a unique experience for you. The Asian dishes are enticingly aromatic and based on a traditional cuisine that is thousands of years old. Allow your taste buds to be enchanted by curry, chilli, sesame, turmeric and other flavours.
We had reserved Hotel Matamba, checking in on the 26th of May, but upon arrival that night we were told it was over-booked and offered Hotel Ling Bao instead. A shaky start, but upon checking in at Ling Bao we were impressed with the young woman who greeted us there. She got us checked in quickly and even gave us some fast passes for the attractions at the park. That's excellent customer service. The rooms are a good size- not real big, but certainly not cramped in any way, and good quality furnishings. Comfortable bed, and our 21 year old son enjoyed the bunkbed. The bathroom was nice as well- plenty of room and well appointed. It would be nice if a coffee maker and small fridge had been included in the room, but it certainly isn't a huge issue or enough to detract a star- just be aware of this. The hotel grounds are fantastic. I saw a review that picked at the "authenticity" of the design of the hotel and the grounds. To each their own, but I found it to be very well done and loved the lush vegetation, water features, and lighting in the courtyard area, accompanied by a number of places to sit and relax. The food was good- we had a buffet for both dinner and breakfast. The selection was good and the food, while not gourmet, was good as well. The location, assuming you're going to the park, is perfection. We simply walked out through the courtyard and we were in the park, ready to enjoy our day. And what a great theme park, by the way. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and found the service to be outstanding. Good customer service can be difficult to find these days, but we were quite happy with those we met with at the hotel. We highly recommend staying.
