Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway

Great escape, cosy setting

Reviewed By F9299WEkathyf

The Possum Hideaway was perfect - everything needed to hunker down during the cold snap, and great advice for the clear day. The firewood was restocked without me asking for it, and the optional breakfast and pamper hampers were gorgeous. I'll be back! Thanks Jess, Chelsie and the team behind the scenes.

Winter Getaway

Reviewed By BNE_Travellers

Stayed in a one bed cabin which was clean and roomy. It had under cover parking, stove, air con, electric blankets. Lots of young families staying over the weekend & kids riding around on gocarts. The park is overlooked by the Booroka Lookout and not too from town centre. Park was well kept. Lots of walks and lookouts in the area to explore. Did not realise it was the weekend of the annual Gap Run when we booked.

Unique Hideaway

Reviewed By Pioneer56184789777

We stayed 3nights in The Escape Shack. We were absolutely delighted with this unique style of open air accommodation. The presentation and cleanliness were top rated. The peace and quiet was such a contrast to our busy hectic lives. The views from the deck were amazing and the sunsets spectacular out over the inlet. 1770 has a local pub for afternoon drinks and dinner and great fish and chips at the marina. A short 7 min drive takes you to Agnes Water to a number of eateries, Foodworks and the best Gelato for an afternoon treat!! We were so sad to leave this peaceful haven. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful with information and I commend them on the beauty they have created in this special hideaway. If you want a quiet relaxing break this is for you. Thank you.

Set just minutes from the Ulladulla town centre, Ingenia Holidays Ulladulla covers 12 pristine acres and is surrounded by native Aussie bushland with popular Racecourse Beach and Burrill Lake nearby. Check into Ulladulla’s self-contained cottages or choose from grassy campsites (powered) which comes complete with camp kitchens. This park might have it all, but there’s plenty to explore beyond its ample amenities. Just a short drive north, you’ll discover the heritage village of Milton, popular Mollymook Beach, and shimmering Lake Conjola. A scenic drive west will take you to Pigeon House Mountain in Morton National Park and if you head south, you’ll find the Pot Holes walking track in Meroo National Park. For alternative adventures, take part in the two-day indigenous Jamanee Gunya Cultural Experience, visit South Pacific Heathland Reserve to spot whales migrating along the New South Wales South Coast, or discover the Dreaming poles on the Coomee Nulunga Cultural Trail.

Great, affordable dog-friendly accommodation!

Reviewed By GillianC1348

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, dog-friendly cabin for the weekend. It had everything we needed for a comfy stay, linen and towels supplied, air-con for those cold mornings and a super comfy bed. The cabin had a gated verandah if we’d wanted to sit outside with our dog. Plenty of area to walk the dog around the park. The cabins are in a cluster away from the main road, we had no traffic noise like a previous reviewer. We can’t comment on the kids’ fun facilities as we didn’t have kids with us but they looked pretty impressive. No shortage of barbecues, they’re dotted all over the park. Have booked to stay again.

Flynns on Surf

Full marks for flexibility during flood crisis

Reviewed By emtnems

We had booked to stay in Flynn’s on Surf Beach with the family on the way up to the Gold Coast, but the flooding on the NSW coast required us to reroute through the inland. I had to cancel 24 hrs before arriving, and without hesitation Flynn’s accepted my request for a waiver of the full cancellation fee. Well done and thank you! That is customer service. Hopefully we will be able to book again for our next trip.

Tranquil Getaway

The villas have everything you need, close to town but set in the perfect bush setting with a bubbling creek at the foot of the garden. We sat in the hot tub and sipped champagne after a long hard day and it was perfect especially with the sound of the creek, native bush, the fresh air and the stars. We didn't bring our kids but it had plenty of space outside to run around and a smart tv ap capable for entertainment. Beds were comfortable and the host responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here.

If you want a beautiful spot for rest and relaxation Goldfields is the place. Charming hosts, spotless apartments and on the doorstep of the Ovens River. There are only 6 apartments with all facilities. 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette. Number 6 apartment has been totally refurbished in a very modern and stylish style. It has one bedroom, a kitchenette with all facilities and a huge bathroom with a rain shower It was a joy to stay there. We would thoroughly recommend the place for couples. A short stroll along the river will take you into the gorgeous village with quality shops, 2 hotels as well as a cinema and 2 supermarkets. We came home refreshed and with a good dose of mountain air. Thanks a million to Marco and Sam. Nicole and Peter
