The five dramatic Patagonian provinces stretch from the ice fields and granite peaks of the Andes mountains to the rugged Atlantic coast, where southern right whales gather to breed. A nature lover's dream, it's also home to the sizable Peninsula Valdes southern elephant seal colony and the world's largest Magellanic penguin colony, located in the Punta Tombo reserve. At its tip, Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia, the globe's southernmost city, are popular jumping-off points for Antarctic cruises.

The host was right there to welcome us upon arrival and displayed unparalleled hospitality and service throughout our stay. Highly recommended! The place is beautifully designed, and conveniently located. It's minutes away from the nature reserve, where flamingos fittingly call home. I say fittingly because of the tranquility and peace this place bestows upon its visitors.

Cabins and hotel in Trevelin, close to Los Alerces National Park.2 complete cabins and hotel with 4 rooms with private bath.
Large and well appointed room. Breakfast a daily treat. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Easy wifi access. Very good value for money within easy walking of town centre. Highly recommended. I would certainly go back to Estancia if I returned to Trevelin.

We stayed for a total of 8 nights in these lovely cabañas, 4 in a two bedroom unit and 4 in a one bedroom unit. They are well furnished and well equipped with good linen, the location on the lake is beautiful and Pablo the perfect host. We will gladly return any time and recommend this place to everybody.

Great structured Cabin with all comfort items one could expect to have for country stay. Although its location is a bit far from downtown and confusing to memorize the routing, the Cabin itself is worth any of these uncomfort details. The staff is very kind and helpfull specially Ramiro, a so nice and helpfull guy who we will never forget. Also Leo, Lucas and Monica are so nice guys too.

Cabins Rincones del sur, A place in the worldyou can not forget it.The complex is located in a little hill with spectacular vistas of the mountains and the village. Each unit has room for up to six people. The first floor contains a doble room with a balcony where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and the view; a closet and a bathroom. In the ground floor, we have a large living room with single beds or doble bed, the kitchen and a big bathroom completely equiped with a jacuzzi. The beds are fitted with prime quality double mattresses and warm, light bedspreads.
We visited at the end of September and I think we were the only residents. We stayed for two nights. The cabin was modern and most importantly warm as the night time temperature was below zero stars. The upstairs room has a large comfortable bed and a toilet but no shower. Downstairs there are two sofas which each convert into two single beds. The bar and restaurant which we didn't know about were in any case closed. At this time of year Trevelin is quiet and it was difficult to find a restaurant open. If you visit, go to the regional museum which explains the founding of the town by Welsh settlers.

We visited Punta Manzano second week of September and we stayed in Cabaña Rústica. The place is amazing: the views, the trees, the lake, the peace and the cabin is like a dream house. We felt like home, it has everything you might need. We visited cerro bayo every day and the distance was ok.. just 10 minutes and then 6km to get to the slopes, its not like an ski in-out experience but the place it totally worthwhile.

We check in at hosteria El Alamo, which is centrally located in El Chalten. Nothing fancy, just a 2 star hotel with a basic room and bathroom. You probably won't find many luxury hotels in this town. What is abundant here are eateries and cozy bars, which are again mainly aimed at a youthful audience that does not want to spend too much money.

We stayed in the same cabana as other guests commented upon. The cabana and main house eating area are decorated in lovely country style Spanish decor which is not dated but presents glimpses of the history.Norma the owner and her Mum provided a late night snack for us after we arrived at 930 pm,and a wholesome breakfast.the cabanas wer more like a small home with all facilities for a lovely overnight stay.I was reminded of outback stations in country Australia. The estancia is located a few kilometres down a stony road accessible fromCalle Perito Moreno which is a little difficult to find at night
