16 comfortable, well-equipped family style cottages and apartments on or very near private Cape Cod Bay beach. Linger Longer is a Cape Cod institution to which many families return year after year, some of whom have been coming for over 50 years in a row! Off-season rates available.
We stayed 3 nites here. The room was great we stayed in room 2 looking out at the beach. The weather however was bad we had gale force winds and 40 degrees. Still we didn't let that bother us. This is close to many restaurants it has a ref. and micro and all needed utensils . Would stay here again .

The Inn at East Hill Farm combines a working farm full of animals with a relaxing all-inclusive vacation resort, located at the foot of picturesque Mt. Monadnock in southern New Hampshire. Join us for all-inclusive year-round fun for the whole family! East Hill Farm, a working farm and resort, offers endless opportunities for interaction with farm animals including collecting chicken eggs, milking the cow and goat, feeding the animals, pony grooming, hay jumping and helping the farmers with their chores. Horseback riding is available as well as riding lessons and pony rides. Three delicious meals are included in each overnight stay featuring home cooked breads, soups and entrées which are locally sourced whenever possible. The recreation program will keep kids of all ages busy with arts and crafts, bread making workshops, dodge ball, talent show, campfires, face painting, water skiing, snow shoeing and much more. Parents can join in or relax by the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. There are evening activities including magic show, contradance, BINGO, DJ and trivia. Accommodations include country style cottages and deluxe, well-appointed suites with a fireplace.
When you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, or reconnect with your children or grandchildren, The Inn at East Hill Farm is the perfect place. I’ve often described EHF as summer camp for families, with the luxuries of a full-service resort. Each day brings new activities for every age: learn to make cheese, bread making, milking the cows, candle making, contra dancing, magic shows, nature hikes lead by naturalists, trail rides, collecting eggs from the coop (my kids favorite), or relaxing by a roaring fire. My family has been vacationing at EHF for over 20 years. Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve were some of our favorite times to visit, with fully prepared meals there is no clean-up just celebration with friends and family. The complimentary cocktail parties on Wednesday and Saturday nights are something to look forward to. Pack your swimsuit, hiking shoes, and a good book and enjoy great food, hospitality, and memories that will keep you returning year after year.

A stay at a 19-century lighthouse on Rose Island - be willing to rough it and pitch in with the chores.
We stayed in the Keeper's Apartment on October 22. I wasn't too sure what to expect since once we got there, we would be there until we were picked up the next day. That ended up being great. There were 2 other people on the island. The weather was great and the apartment was awesome. We'd definitely recommend it.

Cottages And Vacation Rentals In Maine
Room was clean and the kitchen well stocked with essential. It could use some more maintenance. I understand it is a cabin but things should function properly. Screen porch door and cabin entrance door would not open completely. Hope they do more to maintain or it will go down hill fast. Owners seem nice but there own house exterior is a wreck and the roof has got to leak it is so bad.

This entire place is amazing and went above expectations in every way. Surprisingly the bugs were minimal for being in the thick of the Maine woods. The staff were all super friendly and really went that extra step to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. We stayed in the Robins Nest and had two sauna sessions (highly recommend) along with a guided meditation from Jen (highly recommend). It was all a wonderful experience.

We rented for 3 weeks. When we sat on the sofa and loveseat we sunk to the floor. Initially the toaster didn’t toast and I blew a fuse using hairdryer that they left in upstairs bath. Went to open a can and there was no can opener. The kitchen was supposed to be equipped for 5 people but really wasn’t. The management co was wonderful and replace the toaster and upon our suggestion brought plywood for the sofas. The place is directly on rte 6 so you took you life in your hands leaving the driveway. I could go on and on. Del Mar was great but there was just so much that was in their control.

Our biggest disappointment was that we could not stay longer at Harris Point Cabins. The views from our cabin and campground were amazing. The cabin we stayed in did not have a shower but the short walk to the shower room was actually really nice as it provided more time to take in the view. Our stay was punctuated with a bald eagle landing on the tree feet from our cabin viewing point. Campground was very close to downtown which had some good restaurants and neat little shops. Of note, at the end of the road coming from the campground turn left instead of right and this will take you right downtown. Not a far distance the other way but a but more convenient. We can't wait to travel back to Maine and Harris Point Shore Cabins!

Great weekend at Frost Mountain Yurts. We have stayed in yurts at other places and Frost Mountain's was the biggest and nicest we have rented so far. The woodstove kept us warm and toasty in spite of it being MINUS 5 degrees the first night we were there. The cookstove was excellent and the kitchen items were all of very good quality. The site was beautiful, or at least I can say it was when covered in over a foot of snow! I can't honestly say what the outdoor amenities were like as it was much too cold that weekend to use any of them. We are already planning to come back.

Rejuvenate with family and friends, or treat your staff to a special break at Pineland Farms, where our beautifully appointed guest houses are set against stunning vistas and peaceful surroundings. Explore hundreds of acres of fields and trails on the farm, and tour the local area, with less than 30 minutes to Freeport, Portland, and Maine's Lakes Region. Accommodating as few as two or more than twenty, our guest houses offer unique character and comfort.
We rented the Collyer Brook Farmhouse for the second year for a 3 generation weekend. There is lots of room for our large family to spread out and to play and cook together. There is sledding, snowshoeing and Nordic skiing right outside the door or one can drive a short distance to ski on groomed Pineland trails, sled on the groomed sledding hill, skate, or snowshoe. There is also a Y with an indoor pool and gym.
