Situated in the middle of a traditional landscape of Galicia, As Jarras is the perfect place for spending comfortable holidays, for relaxing, for enjoying the country and its people, the beaches, the cliffs and the history. It is the perfect place for a walk through the nearby forest, for smelling the aroma of the eucalyptus trees in the air, for meeting people and making new friends; or simply, for doing nothing and just taking a rest in the sunshine on our terrace and garden.
Petra the owner of As Jarras welcomed my father and I whilst we were touring the picturesque north coast (Rias Altas). Delicious breakfast with fantasic ingredients such as homemade yogurt and waffles, fresh local fruits and tastey galician bread. The grounds were well cared for with facilities for garden lovers those who like to dine al fresco. Comfortable beds, very clean and peaceful. Ample parking and easily accessible to towns locally.

I stayed there for two nights. It is place to disconect from everything if that is what you want to do. They have some activities like horse riding. The rooms are basic, very, very. The food is ok, specially breakfast. It is not a place I would go back, probably if you went with friends, could be better. Found that there were too many flies, probably because it is summer? The young guy at the reception was very helpful and kind.

Os Miguelinos is a farmhouse in the town of Catoira which is famous for its Viking Towers and it festival, which has been declared of international tourist interest. It is ideally located for exploring both the Rias Baixas and the Rias Altas, which are just a few kilometres away. Os Miguelinos is a 300 year old, family-owned, country house which has been passed down through the generations. The house was refurbished in 2003, but preserved its antique furniture and personalised decoration. It offers five double rooms with bathroom, TV, heating, hairdryer, hydromassage bath and wifi connection. The house also features a salon with fireplace, a dining room and fully equipped kitchen. It has a kitchen garden with fruit trees, vines, kiwi fruit… and a large garden with a barbeque, traditional granary and Galician cross. A village house with 5 double, en-suite rooms.
Os Miguelinos is a renovated traditional Galician house that is abt 300 years old and has now 5 Rooms available for guests. There is a parking space, a beautiful garden, a terrace and a kitchen for guests use. What we liked: +The Building itself: what a beautiful old building and a wonderful garden! +Our room was antique, cozy and comfortable - the room was 100% clean every day and the bed was spacious. +The location: Catoira is a little bit between everything. There is not too much around directly but it is a perfect location to do day-trips and the host Manuel will equip everyone with very good tips where to go. +Warm and heartful contact to the hosts +The breakfast is a rustic and down-to-earth but delicious Spanish breakfast. We liked it a lot! Suggestions and room for improvement: -The WiFi connection was during our stay a little bit fragile and should be stabilized. Anyway: a strong recommendation to go to Os Miguelinos!

We stayed here while we walked the Camino, Sito picked us up at the water fountain & dropped us off at the same place the following morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Loureiro! This home has been in their family since the 1800’s. If you want to immerse yourself in the culture this is the way to do it! We were treated as treasured guests and got to enjoy this delightful family & home. It was one of our favorite nights of the trip!! Maria is an amazing host and cook, guaranteed the food will not disappoint! Enjoy your stay, we sure did!!

House A Pedreira® has 10 large and illuminated rooms available with a care and detailed country design, all of them with en suite bathrooms, amenities, TV LCD, free wi-fi, as well as many reading and relax places, large living room, and a wide dining room where we serve breakfast and dinners, and ancient dovecote converted into a game room for children as well as different corners/spots to evade and mental disconnection. A creek that feeds 3 ponds, kinds of ancient oaks, chestnut, camellia, and magnolia trees stand in the prairie outside the house. Our country house also has a swimmingpool that make easygoing the hottest summer days,… In winter, Galicia is special and sensations arise living that experience next to a wide fireplace while having dinner. Springtime and autumn are two seasons to live sensations in Pontevedra and whole “Rias Baixas” We wait for you!
I’m not sure what I enjoyed more here, the accommodations or the food, because both were excellent. Marian, the proprietor/hostess, professionally and efficiently attends to every detail. The grounds are beautiful, dinner by Miguel delicious (ditto for breakfast), and my room quiet and comfortable. We were pampered pilgrims for two nights! The hotel is located a short drive off the Camino Português.

El Pazo Eidián is a typical noble house (16th century) of the Galician countryside that is located in the Eidian Place, very close to the Camino de Santiago as it passes through Melide, the geographical heart of Galicia and which was built in an old Templar settlement of whose times the chapel of the village survives. It was the solar house of the López de Basadre family, whose coat of arms belonged to the entrance gate. Now duly restored, it forms a unique space in which our clients can enjoy spacious common areas, cafeteria and dining room and stay in any of the twelve rooms, all equipped with an indoor bathroom, of which two are suites and the rest are double or use individual. On the ground floor and main are Outeiro, Vilanova and Ventosa and the Eidián suite. On the top floor are Basadroa, Amance, Ramil, Pambre and the Santiago suite; and in an annexed exterior, Antas, Pendellos and Vidueiros. In its landscaped estate of 13,000 m2., We can find beautiful places that invite readin
This is a terrific respite from the Camino where my body rested and my soul breathed. It is run by Ludi who also gives a Camino massage. The food is thoughtful prepared by Luis, of Galician heritage born in Brazil.

Old rural house Graña da Acea in the Fragas do Eume Nature Reserve, with a large area of fields, mountains and rivers. In the mountain but only a few minutes from the coast and the historical towns and villages of Betanzos, Pontedeume, Coruna, Santiago and Lugo
Beautiful restoration of a four century old farmhouse and outer buildings. Three charming sisters who run it together. Great homemade dinners. Comfortable bed. A remote and peaceful retreat while also being an easy drive to the highlights of Galicia.

After two to three years we desided to revisit the Finca Goleta. Well, we were not disapointed! Under the same ownership the attention to detail is unsurpassed. A pastoral place that is worth a visit and a long stay.
