I had an excellent tour with Nikita. He met me in the lobby of my hotel and the tour began as soon as we left. Nikita is very knowledgeable and was able to give me the history of various buildings and neighborhoods as we walked around Moscow. He also gave me insights on life in present day Russia. The wonderful food started at a market where we tried Russian cheese and crepes. We then walked to a monastery and had pastry and tea. We stopped along the way so Nikita could tell me about the history of a building or place. The final stop involved delicious Siberian dumplings. My three-hour tour flew by. It was the perfect combination of food, history, and culture. It was also just the right amount of food for me. We finished at 6:00 pm and I didn’t need dinner that evening. Nikita followed-up afterwards with recommendations for shopping and restaurants during my remaining time in Moscow. I highly recommend this tour.

We propose a unique journey in an authentic Russian Izba, lost in the forest in the region of Kostroma, 550 km away from Moscow. This fairy-tale like house was built at the end of the XIXth century by a rich peasant so he could win the heart of his loved one. Following the soviet revolution, the place was taken away from his owner, and the mansion was transformed into a cultural center for soviet propaganda. Then, after the last inhabitants of the region left for the city in the 1970's, the mansion and the village fell into ruin. The nature slowly took over the remaining izbas... until early 2010's, when a mysterious benefactor fell in love with the place and decided to invest enough money to renovate the Izba alike. The work they made is astonishing as they strictly followed the style and techniques from the time to be as loyal as they could to the mansion's history.

Excellent ! Never thought I could have the chance one day to see this landlocked part of the country. Dream travel from the loneliness of Teriberka village to the nuclear-powered Icebreaker Lenin in Murmansk : a huge piece of Russian History visited with such an interesting and passionate guide! The best moment was undoubtedly the nice time spent in the farm near the lake with the reeinders and huskies. It got simply magical when northern lights appeared in the sky ! The only thing is maybe the time spent in the transportation but anyway I highly recommend this trip !

Victoria our guide was amazing. She came prepared, had her photo portfolio and provided thorough explanation of Moscow monuments history. She was also flexible and accommodating, especially in the freezing temperature of winter. I would recommend to know what you want to see in advance and coordinate with the company. Since this is a private tour, they can change they itinerary based on your needs. Also it is a good thing to inquire about what is included in the price and what is not, for example the tickets to enter Saint Basil Cathedral are not included.

The Trans-Siberian Train- a term that thrills adventurers of all kinds. Of the different branches of the Trans-Siberian Train, the Trans-Mongolian is the most traveled route, mainly due to the fact that in one journey one could explore three different countries, and three different distinct cultures. But long train rides over the vast open Siberian taiga and tundra might just not meet the preferences of many travelers. We have thus designed a trip that focuses on the true real gems of this long train ride. Our journey begins by Lake Baikal of Russian Siberia, on to the land of the Mongol Nomads, and ends in Beijing, the Chinese capital. Featuring two of the most spectacular sections of the Trans-Mongolia railway, and with enough time to explore at ease the unique culture and spectacular sites along the route, this is the perfect trip for those wishing to combine an iconic train ride with up-close encounters with local cultures.

Everything just worked out on this tour i did in nov 2019. Actually mongolian ways was one of the few actually offering during this offseason time of the year. Both guide and driver have proofen excellent organizational, driving, translating skills and made everytjing possible. One night for example was really cold so they spontanipusly organized a warmer place for the next day. A lot was organized according to the situation which gave maximum flexibility. We visited places which are not usually on the tourists list as for example a coal mine. I was never pressured to hurry up or and still everything worked out because the dtiver was so well connected with the locals. And of course... the sights I saw where amazing.

We booked a tour of Moscow & St. Petersburg for 4 people with Ulkotours and were so impressed and happy with their service. After going through immigration with the excursion tickets previously sent by Ulkotours, Ekaterina was waiting for us to go to the airport and start our wonderful day in Moscow. Ekaterina was so personable, easy to talk to and spoke perfect English. Once in Moscow we met Max the tour guide, he walked us to the Red Square, The Kremlin with Armoury, St Basil Cathedral and some amazing train station explaining us every detail. Max was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. On our 2nd day of tour in St. Petersburg we had a wonderful time visiting the highlights of the beautiful St. Petersburg, Liza makes the tour with much knowledge and enthusiasm. I forgot the driver name but I have to mention that he was excellent; he pleased us by taking us to the football stadium in St Petersburg to take pictures. Super friendly. Since the beginning of the preparation of the trip, we received an excellent attention from Ksenia. She responded timely to our questions, specific travel needs and maintained the service level very efficiently at all times. Surprised with the coordination of plane, train, and the hydrofoil tickets also entrances to the visited places avoiding the long lines. Highly recommended.
