Ollantaytambo has some of the oldest continuously-occupied buildings in South America. Once a stronghold of Inca resistance to Spanish colonization, it's remarkably well-preserved. Many travelers visit Ollantaytambo because it's the beginning of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, but don't rush through—the ruins are fascinating.

After a 10 day Traveling adventure with a group through another traveling group, my friend and I opted for a private tour of Rainbow Mountain! Unfortunately it snowed on the day we reserved our tour; however it was one of our most enjoyable days due to the kindness of our guide Richard. He was very informative regarding the history and culture of the area and people. We were able to see some beautiful sites on the way to and home. We met some local folks, stopped by a lovely place to eat Los Cabanas and have coffee. The food was awesome!! Richard took some beautiful photos and was patient with us when we wanted to stop to view some sights/alpacas!! The time with Cusco Holiday Peru Servicios Turisticos was one of our most favorite and memorable!! Thanks for such a wonderful time and adventure!!

We reserve a trip with them for may, paying half of the trip, including the access to the national park. Once started the pandemy they stopped any kind of communication with us, so we needed to ask our credit card company to make a charge back. Initially they even lied to the bank telling they had provided the service. Even afterwards we notice that they got back our reservation money (for the maccu piccu entrance) from the goverment. DONT PAY ANY MONEY BEFORE THE TRIP. It will be very hard for you to recover it if anything happens.

The sacred valley tour is one of the typical and famous tour in cusco region, the road north from cusco climbing up to as pass undulating across the pampa and then descends dramatically in to the spectacular, fertile Urubamba valley, which is also known as the valle sagrado (sacred valley). The mighty river that flows through the valley was considered sacred by the Incas. From pisac it is known as the vilcanota. Downstream it tends to be refore to as the Urubamba. The Incas built their palaces, religious centers alongside of this giant tributary of the amazon river, include the citadel of pisac and ollantaytambbo, such as salineras and moray are also here. The region is considered sacred because its vital importance to Cusco, the area is rich in history so it’s worth allocating several days to explore it fully. Because of Covid 19 we needed to cancel our trip. I contacted Fredi about getting a refund but was unsure whether MLA would send us back our payments or if they would even survive what must have been many cancelled tours. I was pleasantly surprised when Fredi refunded our money. I imagine not all tour groups have done that for their customers. I very much recommend MLA and I definitely will be re-booking a trip with them in the future.
