Cairo’s an ancient city that also happens to be a modern metropolis—it’s one of the biggest cities in the Middle East and has the traffic and noise issues to prove it. But as long as you’re not looking for solitude, Cairo—the City of the Thousand Minarets—is a splendid place to explore Egyptian history and culture. We had a great experience in Egypt with our guides Mohammed in Cairo, and Rocky (Ragab) in Aswan and Luxor. Both were very knowledgeable in ancient Egyptian history, and modern culture. They spoke great English and answered any questions we had. I would definitely recommend them, along with Explore Plus to anyone interested in seeing the real Egypt.

We (mine – husband – two daughters) are enjoying the tour with Explore Plus, Our Cairo guide was Mo Sobhi another guide join us all sailing cruise for 4 days besides 2 nights in the Luxor land hotel. All were very good leading the tour during our trip to Egypt, therefore I recommend Salah. I enjoy his tour and he was very patient very fast responded with clear information. Everything went on schedule and we didn’t have any delays, We are especially happy with our Nile Cruise guide Rocky as all called him. He was very informative, polite, and considerate. The only thing is that we could have been informed more about extra tours we could have made during our free time. I realized after my arrival back in Istanbul that I could have seen more especially in Cairo. Definitely recommend. if you want to visit Egypt choose the tour company explore plus and ask for these guides... Sorry I forgot to thank the driver Kaled or Khaled he accompanies us all tour even he join us in Luxor and Hurghada

We booked this trip with the Egypt Tours company and it turns out we paid too much since St. Catherine monastery is closed because of the COVID virus, but we still paid for it. I would suggest going with other companies that only climb up Mt. Sinai and save money. There were 5 different vans from different tour companies going from Sharm El Sheikh to St. Catherine at the same time our van was and we encountered these vans at the St. Catherine gift shop before beginning the climb up Mt. Sinai. The tour company gave every a small flashlight so we can see the path in the dark, and they turned us over to a guide who brought the group up the mountain path. There are frequent stops along the way, but our guide liked to drink coffee at every stop so we ended up waiting for him to finish coffee at every stop. At the top of the stair section, there are several coffee stands and you can also buy souvenirs. If you feel cold, you can also rent a big blanket for $3 USD, but I didn't need it because I went in May and it was not too cold. I also brought sweat pants and jacket, so I was not too cold at the top. After you reach the last coffee shops, you are on your own and the guide is not involved, so you can go to the mosque at the top to see the sunrise when you want. I think it's best to wait for first light, before sunrise to go to the very top, not when it is still too dark to see the stairs. I and several other people found a spot on a rock to see the sunrise and it was just like in a movie. Very special experience at a very important places in biblical history. After the sun became too bright to view and began to feel hot, we all walked down the trail on our own to St. Catherine, but this turned out to be the hazardous part of the trip. One of the women in our group slipped and hurt her ankle while going down the stair part of the trail and limped the rest of the way down. We waited for the tour operator to show up at St. Catherine, since it doesn't open early, and the only thing available was the gift shop. The church was closed because of COVID, so we returned to Sharm El Sheikh with only half of the trip done.

Meet and greet, Aswan day tour and Abu Simbel tour. I had nothing to worry and my wife was welcome so well and she was taken care of as she is having lack of movement. I’m so impressed by the service of this tour company, and Amro. They are very reasonable in the pricing. Thank you Egypt Touring for making our trip to Aswan and Abu Simbel Memorable!

I booked a private tour to the pyramids to avoid all the hassle, and it was definitely worth it. The tour was prepaid by credit card and I found the price affordable. All my emails were promptly answered, too. I was picked up right on time by a driver and my guide, Nesma, and as traffic was light, the journey from central Cairo to the pyramids took some 20 minutes only. Nesma gave quick briefs at our stops and I had ample time to look around and take photos. She answered all the questions I had and did her best to accommodate my wishes. Her English was excellent. After the pyramids and the sphinx, we made a quick extra stop at a papyrus shop/factory, where they explained the making and history of papyrus. There was no pressure to buy anything, it was a genuine educational stop and an interesting one at that. I can warmly recommend Emotours. I found them reliable, punctual and knowledgeable.

The best part about this amazing tour was our guide - Sam! He made all the difference. What I loved is that he didn’t just give facts - he gave us the story of it and made it very interesting and brought this ancient history to life. Also he did it with a smile and humor. He went above and beyond for us and this was during Ramadan where he was fasting and it literally was 105 in Cairo. I plan on going back to Cairo and my first request will be if Sam is available.
