We are a group of 9 guys who have been on motorbike trips for 17 years on a row. We have been many places but never to Kenya. We contacted Fred and from the beginning we experienced professionalism, engagement and cooperation. Fred tailored a 7 days trip for us, and we had a wonderful time. So many experiences in beautiful Kenya. Many highlights, among those the stay at the Masai camp, very interesting to hear about and see the culture, a real experience far from the touristic programs we read about. Also Fred managed to mix the accomondations from simple to nice, and everyday was a real adventure. The staff that went with us (a guide on motorbike and a support car) was so nice and friendly, and really knew their stuff. Never a bad word, but patience, outstanding service, humor and professionalism. We had a fair amount of challenges on the way, punctures, muddy roads, an agressive elephant, but it was all so much fun and we felt safe and taken good care of all the way. On our previous trips we spend a lot of time on the motorbikes, some time too much, but Fred had arranged this trip so we had time for some game drives, lunches and nice breaks in villages etc., so overall it was perfect. My best reccomandations to Fred and his outstanding staff. Second to none.

Just a short drive from the heart of Nairobi, Kiambethu Farm at Limuru provides a tranquil insight into life on a settler farm. Situated at 7,200 ft., Kiambethu was bought and farmed by AB McDonell in 1910. He was the first person to grow, make and sell tea commercially in Kenya – now one of Kenya’s biggest exports. Five generations have lived on the farm and it is currently run by his granddaughter Fiona Vernon. The farm house is set within beautiful gardens surrounded by acres of tea and indigenous forest – home to the Colobus monkey and plenty of other wildlife.

It was a though but fantastic tour to mount longonot. We walked about 3 hours to see the crater, some animals and the beautiful nature. After that we spent some relaxing time at the boat trip at lake naivasha, and see some hippo's, birds and zebra's. Driver Sammy and guide Peter were 2 excellent and professional persons who make you're day more better. They're also very helpful, respectful and friendly. I recomment this tour to everyone who loves the nature!

We did the 3 day Private Maasai Safari tour. Our tour guy Joel exceeded our expectations and so much more. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and the land. I was able to get some amazing pictures that look like post card. He has so much passion and love for the animals. I learn more from him than I did at the zoo. You can tell he really love his job and it shows. Our safety was Joel number one priority. I felt safe at all time. Thank you Joel for being so patience when we was shopping . He never rush us, or told us to hurry up. He let us shop to we drop. I definitely recommend Joel as your tour guide you’ll have so much fun and learn so much with great photos to show all your friends. Thanks for the trip of a lifetime. I have so many great memories and I’ll definitely will be back!

In all, there are more than 400 bird species - the Taita Falcon, Palm Nut Vulture, Great Egret and Yellow-billed Oxpecker to name a few, have been recorded here. Kamunyuk the Lioness is a famous resident of Samburu due to her adoption of an orphaned Oryx. Shaba is associated with Joy Adamson (author of Born Free), who spent her last years in the reserve returning a Leopard into the wild. The book Queen of Shaba is about this experience. Shaba has also been the site for a Survivor Africa programme. Umoja near Archer's Post (on the way to the Samburu Reserve), is the site of a ground-breaking Game viewing is the primary activity via game drives and walks, also birding and lodge activities. After my tea plantation tour was cancelled due to the lockdown, the company made a suggestion to spend the day around Nairobi. Chris picked me up. What a fine young man he is! We went the the giraffe centre, beads factory and Karen museum. After that we had a great lunch. We drove via a slumb back to the hotel. Thank you for making a plan. I had a great day!!
This is a perfect safari for a guest who wants to experience the beauty and drama of the migration in elegance and style .The Maasai Mara National Reserve is also considered to be the seventh natural wonder of the world where the migration happens every year between JULY and OCTOBER During this great migration, over 2 million wildebeests, zebras and gazelles trek from the Serengeti plains in Tanzania right through the reserve in search of water and pasture. Visiting Maasai Mara during the Migration Season is the ultimate way of experiencing the last multi-species migration on the planet.
