An enchanting experience whilst visiting Zadar was to listen to the natural music at the sea organ on the promenade and then watch the science light show after sunset, a lovely end to a perfect visit to this ancient city.

This is a lovely, relaxing walk around the edge of the city. You have rhe sea viwes on one side and the city on the other. Then if you continue around the end you walk on top of the old city wall overlooking the harbour area. From either end of the walk it is easy to cut into the city centre. We did it in the middle of the day so did not experience the sunset. An excellent stroll.

In the heart of the Old Town, the People's Square is a great place to meetup. There are also a number of cafes around so you can sit and drink a coffee. There is also a cafe built around the ruins of an old church which is very interesting.

This is a must visit place because its very well decorated and designed place. Its huge and serene. Nice statues, colorful. As soon as you get out of the church, nearby pl look for the souvenir shops and if you can go there before 1 p.m.,you can have a look at the big vegetable market which is very colorful.

The views from the Bell Tower are glorious. The red tiled roofs of the houses and spires of churches in Old Town with the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea forming the background is a must see when visiting Zadar. The Bell Tower is open till 17:00 but I would recommend visiting it in the morning or at noon as the sun is still not over the sea and so you can take beautiful photos of the Adriatic Sea and the Old Town without the sun ruining your shot. The climb is quite steep, especially the first flight and the last flight, but there is enough room on the landings to take a break.

The bridge connects the old town Zadar (Polutok) with the new part of it. It is great bridge where You can walk easy cause it is wide, so there was no problems to be crowded in a time when I went there (a daytime). You can make a beautiful photos from it. A small boat in harbour on one side and larger ships on other side. At the end of bridge at Zadar old town it is the place for photo of old gate at Poluotok. Would recommend for family walk.

Again, one of the really old parts of Zadar. Bordering up to a wonderful park this is a nice and calm starting point for a quiet stroll before diving into the entertainment in the area.
