There are 32 islands and cays that make up St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Nine are inhabited, including the mainland St. Vincent and the Grenadines islands: Young Island, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Union Island, Mayreau, Petit St Vincent and Palm Island. The stunning Tobago Cays National Marine Park is also located within SVG. This multi-island Caribbean nation offers a combination of rainforest eco-adventures, scuba diving, classic Caribbean powder-white sand beaches, luxury accommodation and yachting or sailing adventures.

Built around 1800 on a tiny island next to Young Island, this fort once protected a chief port of St. Vincent.
Marvel at the ingenuity of the engineers that lifted the cannons into place on top of this amazing fort. Look down on crystal clear waters and over to the main land. Take a light picnic to the top - seating area available but no other amenities. You need a boat taxi to take you to the base of the steps, booked from the main land.

The perfect finish to an island tour, with superb views back over Kingstown and the surrounding area, as well as our cruise ship. The fort has been pretty well maintained, and is free to enter.

A local fisherman, Orton (Brother) King, constructed this sanctuary in an effort to preserve the hawksbill turtle.
This is a really unique little sanctuary and it's well worth the effort to get there. The owner is a great guy who will tell you all about the turtles and what he is doing to help with their conservation. You just won't get this experience in other places. First class.

This market area is extremely crowded on weekends as locals cart in fresh foods to sell.
This place is so fascinating. The produce is so fresh and because of St. Vincent's volcanic soil, it is so flavorful. There are so many herbs and spices being sold and the ladies selling them are happy to tell you how to use them. A must-see stop.

Belmont Lookout offers panoramic views into the picturesque Marriaqua / Mesopotamia Valley to the north and east. It also allows glimpses of Bequia, Baliceaux and Battowia to the southeast and west. It is popular stop for visitors to Kingstown and those heading up the windward coast.
