This bold and fun piece of street art runs along a 70-metre wall on Twinkl Way, moments away from the bustle of Ecclesall Road. The mural was created by Florence Blanchard, a local artist whose work is well-known in Sheffield. The design reflects the colours and shapes found in molecular biology, inspired by Blanchard's education and training as a biologist. The work was commissioned by the online educational publisher Twinkl.

Sheffield Manor Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy time with family and friends. Discover the manor which held Mary, Queen of Scots prisoner, join in a petting session on our farm, wander through beautiful wildflower meadows and stop for a tasty treat at the Rhubarb Shed Cafe. Please note we are open every Sunday April to September.
As a resident of Sheffield the Manor Top was the last place i expected to find such a historic place of beauty. There is an educational experience for the kids, but also beauty in the history and how well the area was maintained. There is a lovely cafe insight, plus a few farm animals and they were also working on a 1940's experience when we visited which looked very interesting as a few houses were being renovated to offer a war time experience. Definitely worth a visit, onsite parking is available and you can spend a good few hours here, we'll be returning once again in the summer.

Set in a peaceful and picturesque wooded valley, Roche Abbey was founded in 1147, with stonework dating back to around the 1180's. Thanks to Capability Brown who landscaped the area in the 18th Century, we now boast the most complete foundations of any Cistercian monestary in the country. Although most of the excavated ruins are low lying, the transcepts still stand to their original height. Roche Abbey is closed during the winter months, re opening again March 2015. The woodland walks around the area are accessible and parking is still available.
Lovely place, very much worth a visit with some lovely walks and the ruins are amazing , a guide book is very worthwhile and gives a wonderful insight into the history of the site. The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable

COVID-19 Update Following the Government's Coronavirus recovery road map announcement on 22nd February, we are working hard to establish what this means for Wentworth Woodhouse. The Government guidance allows for people to access their local Heritage Gardens for daily exercise with people from their household or support bubble. We ask all visitors to follow these restrictions when making decisions about travelling. The House remains closed until further notice. Thank you for your continued support at this challenging time. Opening The Gardens are currently open Wednesday to Sunday 10am - 4pm daily for local supporters to exercise within our beautiful snowdrop gardens extending to over 50 acres. There are toilets located around the garden with full hand washing facilities, as well as additional hand sanitiser stations. The Gardens Kiosk will be also be open Wed to Sun 10am - 4pm daily offering gorab-and-g food and drinks. Whilst the East Front Kiosk will be open Fri to Sun 10am - 4pm
Our visit to this stately home was the highlight of our holiday in North Yorkshire. Underneath the scaffolding there was much to see, with the helpful commentary of an excellent guide. We did the Wentworth and Garden Tour which took about 2 1/2 hours - the beautiful weather set the gardens off well and we would highly recommend those interested in historic architecture to pay a visit.
