Land of Mermaids. Land of Orange and Lemon Groves. Land of Colors. This small city in Campania has earned a plethora of alluring names. Famed for its sea cliffs, the town's steep slopes look out over azure waters to Ischia, Capri and the Bay of Naples. The birthplace of Limoncello liqueur offers some good diving, great sea fishing, boat cruises and appetizing restaurants. Excellent hiking trails cross the peninsula. Rent a car or take a taxi if the steep streets look too intimidating.

What a superb spot to stroll around , stop for a drink & something to eat. So many options in the piazza a just off too, so whether you're dining, shopping or just need a gelato you can get it all here.

Visit this lovely house and go down to the basement where you will meet the charming Mario. He will amaze and entertain you with his marvellous collection of antique musical boxes. He made the cabinets of many of them himself! Simply the most memorable experience you will have in Sorrento.

Beautiful square overlooking the Amafli Coast is a great place to sit and enjoy the view. Beautiful green space with statues.

This mural which shows Lucio Dalla Sophia Loren Enrico Caruso (probably the best tenor ever and who spent his last days in the hotel excelsior a few hundred metres away) in sorrento is a piece of street art not seen so much in these parts and is done so well in my opinion the attention to detail especially re Lucio & Enrico is outstanding artwork Well worth a visit especially if you like street art/graffiti

We had lunch there recently and the atmosphere is very nice and also casual and service was great. The restaurant location is away from the main street but is on a busy corner and great for people watching. The restaurant was very busy which shows it is a popular place. We shared a cannelloni and it was delicious.
