Located on the edge of the historic city heart, the monument adopts the plan hotels in the Enlightenment. It detects previous vestiges but its current appearance is due to the installation of the diocesan seminary in the 19th century. Since 2003, the restored monument and its pleasant shaded courtyard host exhibitions of contemporary Art.

This is certainly a beautiful church worthy of exploring. You definitely get a feel that it was meant to be a bit bigger, but, it has a lot of amazing art in every nook and cranny. One really interesting item is an apparent crypt cemented in by a covering with four skull and crossbones figures - one on each corner. Being close to the sea, it makes you wonder...

Created in 1942, Sant Vicens is a unique place of ceramic creation. In the park of the farmhouse, the exhibition-sale changes with the seasons and the creators. Do not miss the guided tour, free, every Thursday at 17h, with the history of the place (through the Bauby family, Jean Lurcat, Picasso ...), the visit of the cellar converted into a historical space, and the discovery of the workshop.

Castle & Fortifications A royal palace of the medieval Mediterranean Located in the heart of Perpignan, this 13th century palace was for nearly a century the center of the ephemeral Kingdom of Mallorca. Its construction, completed after 1300 in the Gothic style, recalls the status of Perpignan as economic, political and cultural center of the medieval Mediterranean.
An obvious historic site. Sort of a self guided tour. It is located high up and as a result you get some great view of the city of Perpignan. We visited in the winter and it was breezy and quite cool, but had a great time walking about the property. As I mentioned it is a great vista point.
