It's a behemoth that you won't believe until you see it! It leaves you questioning nature and wondering how this happened. We saw it from the land nearby, the mountain, on a boat, and even from a helicopter! Spectacular!

This cute little lighthouse sits on the edge of a long point that helps form a little bay/harbour at Carleton-sur-mer. This position allows you to look in at the little and town with the stunning mountains behind along the coast that run down steeply to the water's edge. You can also see the flat expanse of the larger Baie des Chaleurs. It is quite a lovely view, particularly when the sun is set or setting. There are places to sit and admire the view or you can actually climb up into the lighthouse itself (it is not very tall). The lighthouse is found at the end of the road and the campground. If you are at the campground this is a great evening walk destination.
