The Myooin Temple is just outside Fukuyama by a couple of minutes, it is really easy to get to and there is parking available. We parked and walked the stairs to the temple. The temple is beautiful especially the pagoda. I loved the red colors of both the pagoda and temple, I went on an especially beautiful day when the sky was blue. I came here in the evening and had it to myself. There were a few trails around here I did not walk, but might be worth exploring more. I highly recommend adding the Myooin Temple to your Fukuyama itinerary.
