Busan is Korea's second largest city. Tourists often come to this region to hike and to visit the Buddhist Temples located deep within the region's mountains. The Beomeosa Temple, founded in 678 AD, is perhaps one of the most frequented temples in the area and is always packed with worshipers and tourists. For art buffs, Busan offers several museums and historical buildings. If scenery is your thing, try visiting the Dongbaek Island, or bird watch at the Nakdong river estuary.

Was from Gwanggali Beach and opposite is the nice view of the bridge. It is better during sunset and when the lights are on. Simply beautiful. Enjoyed the night walk here.

Nice little spot in the city where the cherry blossoms bloom each year. There are some nice walking paths as well along the area. It's worth a stop by if you're near, especially during cherry blossom season.

Best thing we saw in Busan. Combine with the Geumjeongsanseong fortress South Gate if you want, also worthwhile. This is quite an uphill hike but worth it.

I am not sure why this temple seems to be so underrated. It is much bigger and more elaborate than many of the other, more well know temples in the area. I love it here, one of my favourite spots in the city. The statues and carvings are amazing and there are some nice view both of the temple itself and looking back at the city. It is especially beautiful right now as it is coming up to the lantern festival and the entire temple complex is covered in lanterns. Absolutely stunning site to see. You can also hike maybe 30 mins to a smaller and more quaint temple- Seonamsa, from here. Also a nice place to visit, more relaxing and tranquil.

I've always heard about Gamcheon Cultural Village and this was my first time visit Huinnyeoul Culture Village! It's so peaceful and quiet. Very little tourists and plenty of picturesque cafes with the perfect seaview!! Watch a video of this attraction on my Instagram @xuantravelogue

My friend and I were on our way back to have grilled eels from the cliffside temple but I mistakenly drop at the wrong station and we were at Songjeong Beach by then. As the restaurant is halfway across the beach, so we just walked along the beach before finding an abandoned rail track. This trail was the hidden gem as we could walk along the track while having the sea on our left. After some time we found the skywalk and it was perfect. Aided by the sun shine, view of the sea was nice added by the mild winter wind with the crashing waves beneath us. I would spend around 10-15 minutes at most just to look around and enjoy the view. So if you were to go here, better get lost at Songjeong beach and let the journey do its magical work!
