This was an export port for quarry produced stone blocks for building famous Diocletian Palace in Split, listed by the UNESCO as the World Heritage. Stones for the palace were collected in quarries Plate, Rasohe and Strazisce. In Rasohe you can see the relief of Greek mythological hero Hercules. There is also a thematic path Hercules available in tourist offer which starts in Splitska.
Great job slaves on the stone relief. I loved stone chisel marks and was really evocative with a little imagination. Finding it was half the fun - tip is to follow the hornets!
