The 10 Best Photography Tours in Giza, Giza Governorate

July 4, 2021 Jasper Kershner

Spot a tourist in New York, and chances are you can’t be sure exactly why they’re in town. Broadway? Shopping? A quest to find the world’s best bagel? It’s anyone’s guess. At Giza, though, it’s pretty simple—travelers come here to see the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. (Editor's note: Our list was compiled before political unrest prompted many countries to issue travel warnings for Egypt. If you're currently planning a trip to Egypt, please consider the risks and monitor your government's travel alerts.)

Odynovo provided wonderful attention to organizing our trip. we were so happy with our entire trip. Every guide we had was knowledgeable, informative, happy to cater to our needs and provided information about the areas in which we were most interested. They were all very happy to provide any information we asked about, including their personal stories – which helps us so much to understand their life styles and culture. Each guide was well educated, knew the material we were visiting and spoke English. We spent much time with Saleh in Aswan and were so happy he suggested additional sites to see (including the Nubian Village -- a must see) . Ms. Nihal Nabil was a font of information on our first day in Cairo visiting Memphis and for our final 3 days. It’s amazing to think we had an actual Egyptologist with us to describe and explain the hieroglyphics we were seeing at the temple. The drivers offered a clean and fresh-smelling vehicle and plenty of bottled water. They were always on time and knew exactly where to go. On our own, we would have been lost many times. The hotels were 4- and 5-star and breakfast buffets were fantastic. They provided enough variety for even the pickiest eater, along with local foods of the country. Because of Covid, there were very few fellow travelers/tourists and some days we were at a sphinx or pyramid totally ALONE. Never will this happen again!! I suggest that if you are considering this trip – take it now!!! You will not regret it!!
