Located in a picturesque country setting, the Huron Country Playhouse is just minutes from the shores of sparkling Lake Huron in the heart of Ontario's West Coast. Visitors to the theatre can see the upgrades to the front-of-house including new washrooms, lobby, refreshment bar, box office, and gift shop operated by the Huron Country Playhouse Guild, a community-based organization comprised of 90 volunteers.There are 650 brand new theatre seats in the mainstage, and the Playhouse II has been completely renovated, increasing from 150 chairs to a fully raked 300 seat auditorium. Infrared hearing and wheelchair access are available to patrons who require special assistance. A visit to the Huron Country Playhouse takes less than an hour from Stratford, London and Sarnia.

Meaford Hall Arts & Cultural Centre, located in historic downtown Meaford, is a beautifully restored and renovated century old landmark. Formerly known as the Opera House, Meaford Hall is just a stone's throw from Georgian Bay and adjacent to all amenities in an area well-known for its year-round attractions. As a four season venue, Meaford Hall plays host to a variety of events including live theatre, music, films, dance and entertainment as well as community, corporate and social events. The newly-restored Meaford Hall has state-of-the-art staging, an intimate Edwardian Opera House with theatre balcony, two large light-filled gallery/reception halls, meeting room with landscaped terrace, a boardroom and full kitchen and bar facilities. The brand new east wing houses the Box Office, elevator, coat check, dressing rooms and an expanded Green Room. Seneca Theatre was built in 1941 with a seating capacity for 911. It was originally owned by Famous Players theatre. The theatre hosted many events over the years, including the Canadian premiere of Marilyn Monroe’s film “Niagara” on January 28,1953. In 1984 Cineplex Odeon took it over and the theatre was twined into two cinema’s. Cinema 1, had 569 seats, Cinema 2, 211 seats for a total of 780 seats. A large, illuminated marquee was part of the original facade, the upper part of which still exhibits art deco styling. The interior was decorated throughout with native Seneca motifs such as birch bark-cast plaster walls, ceremonial masks and belt designs. The theatre is hoping to restore the masks and marquee in the not too distant future. The Seneca Queen Theatre today holds 307 comfortable seats, each with a perfect view of the stage, lots of leg room. We are fully licensed and offer both movies and live entertainment. We are also available for private rentals.

This is POPCORN THEATRE -No rubber chicken here! Complimentary popcorn is the only food served during the show so arrive early and grab dinner before the show at the Prescott. Show starts at 8pm and runs until just about 10pm which leaves you time to enjoy the surrounding nightlife. Our hilarious whodunnits are rated PG, gun play but no bad language.
