With beaches, boating, and salmon fishing in Michigan City and Gary bordering Lake Michigan, there is more to Indiana than might appear at first glance. The agricultural heartland even has cross country skiing and snowmobiling to go with the Cornball Express. Southwest Indiana near Evansville is renowned for the well-preserved Native American Angel Mounds State Historic Site. The largest city and state capital is famous worldwide for its Indianapolis 500 race. Even locals living in the suburbs often overlook the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Eiteljorg Museum, NCAA Hall of Champions, the old Union Station museum cluster, and downtown Canal Walk, to name but a few landmarks. South Bend is synonymous with the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
Forested Nashville’s art colony fame dates to the early 1900s when Impressionist Theodore Clement Steele overwintered in The House of the Singing Winds. It is now the T.C. Steele State Historic Site. View paintings and sculpture at the I.M. Pei-designed Indiana University Museum of Art. Attend an IU sports event or an opera, ballet, concert, or theater performance. Treat the family to The Little Nashville Opry or The Bill Monroe Bluegrass Park. For healing mineral springs, head south to Orange County, Indiana’s spa resort center.

National Touring performers Christian & Katalina are at the Hilton with a funny, surprising, interactive, and intimate, interactive theatrical show called Mind Tripping: A Comedy with a Psychological Twist. Christian & Katalina, the #1 Husband & Wife Comedy Mind Reading Act, take audiences on a series of mind-bending adventures that is pure fun. The show is a psychological thriller that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality. Think Candid Camera meets the Twilight Zone. Perfect for teenagers age 13 and older. It is a great show for date night, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and ladies night out. Shows are Friday and Saturday nights.
Christian and Katalina have great chemistry together. They're very funny, personable, and put on an amazing show with lots of audience participation. I actually saw an audience member do a literal "spit take" while laughing during the show!

Here dance, music, theater and cinema aren't charming diversions: They are unconventional inspirations. Home to five performance venues, a performer's hall, scene and costume shops, numerous classrooms and more, it may be difficult to ignore the center's physical presence. The raw size and footage of the center is impressive, yet the center's real strength is its emotional and intellectual impact of integrating the arts into Notre Dame student and community life.

The mission of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is to inspire, entertain, educate and challenge through innovative programs and symphonic music performed at the highest artistic level. The ISO performs at the Hilbert Circle Theatre in downtown Indianapolis, as well as Conner Prairie in Noblesville during the summer. With series like Classical, Pops, Family, Happy Hour and more, there is something for everyone at the ISO!
I attended the Yuletide Celebration with a friend that has become an annual tradition for us. Frankie Moreno was a great host and gave a stellar performance. The one segment they could have done without was the 2 laser lighted trees set to music. It lowered the classic production and cheapened the entire show to rock star status. On the flip side, the blue gowns worn by the singers in the Polar Express portion were by far the most gorgeous design ever! Absolutely stunning!!!!! Nothing I've seen before comes close to the magnificant, sparkling, beauty of those gowns. A truly delightful Christmas show.

Theater at the Center is the best place in NW Indiana to see a top notch theater production. I’ve been going for years and I’m never disappointed. The venue is intimate and the sound is great. It’s easy to hear at a reasonable volume.

We went to the concert with some friends. Never having been there I was looking forward to seeing what the remodel looks like. The place was amazing. It’s a really intimate place for a concert from someone like Carrie. We are going to keep an eye on future events to attend.

A 500 seat dinner theatre featuring Broadway Musicals, Comedies, Concerts, and Children's Theatre. A freshly prepared home-style buffet is included in the ticket price. Located just minutes from downtown Louisville, KY, free parking and AAA discounts are available.
My husband and I decided to attend the Saturday Night Fever Sunday Matinee Performance last week. The play was wonderful with very talented performers. They also doubled as staff who served attendees and took care of everything else. Food was very good, hot and fresh, typical of buffet food. Fried chicken, carving board turkey, catfish, chicken Alfredo pasta, scalloped potatoes, corn, carrots, salad bar, etc. Desserts and alcoholic beverages are at an extra cost and served table side. All other drinks included in the price of admission. Reasonable prices. Check their website. We stayed overnight at a nearby hotel (many choices). This was a wonderful weekend for us. Check the other performances. We will be there!
