As a little boy, many Saturdays or Sundays we went to see 3 films in a row, all by ourselves. For many years ir was closed. Now luckily ir has been restored, and I enjoy going with muy wife for free films, theatre, music, etc.

This is my third trip to this dinner show. First time was in the early 90's then again for a Christmas Eve Show maybe 5 or 6 years ago and then we went again on December 23, 2019. Had hotel concierge make the reservation for three of us. Paid at the ticket counter with no problems. We walked there from the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel, maybe a 20 minute easy walk. We even walked back after the show with no problems. We had VIP tickets which gave us a seat on one of the side balconies above the crowd so we had a great view. Many reviews complained about the steak but my steak was ordered medium and was great. Had a couple beers, a bottle of wine, plenty of water and sodas for our daughter. No problem with service. Daughter had a pasta dish she said was great and my wife had vegetarian lasgna i think....she had no problems with it and liked it. The show was great, almost 2 hours. And after the show the server gave us a new bottle of Malbec to take back to our room. Yes, they do ask for a tip at the end but she walked away and did not stare over our shoulders. THe service was good and i think a tip was warranted. Great show, great dinner, we enjoyed. And as i said earlier, i've been there 3 times and all 3 times had the same. Would recommend.........

"Maldita" is the milonga you want to be in Buenos Aires. A space where dancing and live music vibrates together, mixing traditional spirit and new musical concepts. This place is filled with an intense vibe that comes from the mystisicm of the orchestra, the decoration and dark ambience of the room, and the fact that this place used to be the "meca" of punk-rock´s local scene in the 90s. We have tango classes for beginners and intermediates (9pm). The Orquesta Tipica El Afronte plays its live music with a powerful new sound, breaking schemes and presenting the tango from a young and genuine perspective (11pm) And regulary after midnight, a couple of proffesional guest dancer makes a brief performance. Our milonga is an iconic space in tango scene where you´ll have the opportunity of learn how to dance tango, interact with local dancers, make new friends and truly experience Buenos Aires music of today.
Great way to see some tango while in B.A. if you don't want to go to one of the more formal/touristy Tango shows. Watch locals dance the tango while you sip on a beer or wine and relax!
