Reviewed By Rüdiger HPlötzlich neuer Job, neues Bundesland, vorübergehend Wochenendbeziehung, keine Wohnung am neuen Arbeitsort. In dieser Situation ist es ein Riesenglück, solchen freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen zu begegnen, die einem für 10 Monate eine ausgesprochen saubere, große und toll eingerichtete Wohnung in ihrer Pension anbieten. Nach 7 Monaten ist dann auch endlich meine Frau eingezogen bis wir jetzt ein Haus für uns gefunden haben. Ganz herzlichen Dank für eine tolle Zeit an die Inhaberfamilie der Pension Gertrude. Meine Frau und ich können die Pension Gertrude nur weiter empfehlen. Alle Wohnungen sind mehr als vier Sterne zu einem mehr als hervorragenden Preisleistungsverhältnis. Ein gutes Gespräch am Abend und am Wochenende, falls gewünscht, war im Preis inbegriffen. Dr. Rüdiger Haag

Friendly, comfortable, convenient & clean
Reviewed By martinatakanoI stayed in January 2016 and loved my room (Kornblume). Very quiet and the host is very friendly. A great place to relax and close to the city center (5-10 minute on foot). The rooms are very clean with internet, TV and if you want, even with breakfast. Kitchen and bathroom is shared. Eltville has great wineries and a beautiful Stadtkern, close to the river Rhein.

Reviewed By glenozexpGuxhagen is a pretty village which over looks a river with lots of vintage houses and castle . The Pension is very spacious and clean with a huge bed and sofa in the room . The staff are very friendly , even bought us up some wine of there own cause everything was closed by the time we got there .

Reviewed By Steven VDas ist und war die dreckigste Unterkunft die jemals zu sehen bekommen habe Schimmel im Bad verkalkter Duschkopf Fußnägel neben dem Bett ungenügend absolut nicht zu empfehlen sehr sehr dreckig da ist direkt unterm Dach ist hatten wir teilweise 47 Grad dort oben und davon mal ganz abgesehen in den Ohren sind die Batterien leer Bett Lampen sind die Birnen kaputt Rollos an den Fenstern sind abgerissen und den Rest zeigen glaube ich die Bilder

Reviewed By Jens AStayed here one night while driving through Germany. Very nice and quiet hotel, and the views from both our room and the restaurant were spectacular. Really nice breakfast with made-to-order eggs (from real eggs, not the terrible prefab goo that is all too common). Friendly staff.

Reviewed By Andy GSuper friendly and genuine people running a cozy little B&B - Quiet and comfortable rooms with a nice view to wake up too. They had no problem with us checking in very late and did not rush to have us check out. Breakfast was tasty and some of the finest coffee I have had in Germany.

lovely, family run hotel
Reviewed By fred147We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while exploring the area. We had a lovely big room, with a balcony and a small separate lounge area with TV. We couldn't fault it in any way - the couple who run it were really helpful. You can help yourself to free tea and coffee all day. The lady will cook evening meals if you order in advance, and we did this twice. We had 2 excellent meals, very reasonably priced. The hotel was spotless and breakfast had lots of choice. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Very good value for money.

Reviewed By Christa LEinen Tag auf dem Reiterhof waren wie drei Tage Erholung. Tolle Lage für lange Spaziergänge, schön eingerichtete, saubere Zimmer mit großem Bad, perfektes Frühstück mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Preis unschlagbar. Wir kommen wieder !

Peaceful stopover near a main European route
Reviewed By Dean-TravellerHotel Pension Hanebeck is surrounded by fields and has its own large grounds, but is easy to find just a few kilometres from one of the major roads across Germany. We stayed for just one night to break a journey but a few days here would be a joy. There is no secure parking but there was a post to which the bike could be chained. Parking on site for several cars. The rural outlook is all around. The large bedroom and shower room were clean and well equipped. There was a balcony with rural views for miles in all directions. Having booked through an on-line agency we were surprised to not be expected. The hosts were great and soon had us settled in a room. The kitchen was closed so they transported us to and from a local restaurant. Breakfast choice was good and, as with everything, it was relaxed.
