This gallery is a must visit when visiting Rothbury! Linda’s art quintessentially captures the sweep and beauty of the Northumberland countryside. After driving through this lovely area, her art is the perfect purchase for bringing home mementos from your trip. Choose from stunning, full scale landscapes to simpler, more whimsical pieces. Ask about her husband’s pottery studio, PottedHistory, which is close by as well. Cheerio!

A birthday gift from my lovely daughter, this was my first go at pottery. I went with a friend and what a special treat. It was such a wonderful experience: a fantastic two hour escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life, especially during the pandemic. The group was small (four) and we wore masks and were well distanced. Andra made us feel safe and welcome. She showed us around the studio (really interesting to see the kilns and workshop shelves covered in beautiful creations). She was so warm and supportive: a very gentle, humble, caring, nurturing person. She put us immediately at ease and encouraged us all the way through without being overbearing. I was amazed and excited to be at the potters wheel at my first go at pottery. I found the whole experience very emotional: focussing on making the pottery and using my hands to create something was therapeutic and mentally freeing. My friend and I both made five things in the class - so much more than we expected. Andra gently shared tips and tricks to help us get the best results on the day. We made whatever we wanted to with her help and advice. When we got our creations a couple of weeks later it was so exciting to see them: Andra had glazed them and they looked amazing. Lovely colours. She made everything look beautiful. If you're looking for a new, creative experience with a wonderfully supportive tutor I highly recommend Andra and her classes!

Got an at home pottery kit for a birthday gift for a family member and they absolutely loved it, the staff were so helpful in sorting it out and adding a birthday note on the bag. Will definitely be heading for a class there when they reopen to the public.

I attended one of the popular workshops recently at the shop. It was relaxed, informative and interesting. Lots of helpful tips and not at all rushed. There was tea and very lovely cakes to keep us going. The shop is a lovely treasure chest of supplies for the crafty and beautiful pieces of anything from furniture, cushions to glasses. I've booked another course and no doubt will indulge in purchasing a number of items.

I love anything to do with arts and crafts. Just happened upon CC's Instagram page and knew I had to visit. Been quite a few times now and painted numerous pieces of pottery. Done baby prints, silk screening, painting etc. Going again very soon and will no doubt go again after that! So much fun for adults and children alike!
