when you chose like me to take the "Höll" option be prepared to climb countless steps (natural as well as man made steel ones) - with short legs quite a challenge. You are rewarded with beautiful views of the waterfall, the wild waters, a suspension bridge etc. After having mastered that track reward yourself with a Kaiserschmarrn at Gfölleralm and let the surroundings sink in. Continue to Riesachsee and walk along its shore - you won't regret it.

The cycling path along the Mur river in Styria, Austria, is one of the loveliest cycling tours in the alps. The tour goes from the National Park Hohe Tauern over Graz to the wineregion in the southeastern part of Austria.

The skislopes in Kreischberg are great! It's a familyfriendly ski region. On top of the mountain you'll find all the restaurants together and the ski school. Also for walkers it's a wonderfull place to go to. You go up the mountain with the cable car and there you find the walkingtracks.

Schladming planai ski resort is an excellent ski resort with new ski lifts, well groomed slopes, fantastic food to reasonable prices and very friendly atmosphere. Lot of different slopes, long blue but also never ending red ones. No 10 - no man's land is a favorite. Will come back as soon as it is possible for a 3rd time.

The walk starts at the Gasthaus Sandwirt where there is parking. After the first meadow and on entering the woods there is an honesty box to pay fee of €2 per person. Then begins this lovely and interesting walk - a steady climb using wooden steps and walkways that follow the gorge, cascades and waterfalls. Return by the same route or take a circular walk through farmland to return to the gasthaus.
