Located in the south of China, the cityscape--Shenzhen-- is home to some of the most modern buildings worldwide. Although this area is largely industrial, it offers many tourist attractions, such as the Chinese folk Culture Village, Safari Park, and beach resorts. Perhaps one of the most frequented tourist attractions is Window of the World, which offers replicas of the Eiffel tower, the pyramids, and Taj Mahal.

Located at the base of Big Nanshan Mountain, Evergreen Resort is as much about enjoying stunning scenery as it is about offering family-friendly activities. The emphasis here is on the environment and educational fun, and though there are no rides, kid’s won’t be bored thanks to a butterfly park, an interactive rain forest (bring an umbrella), and an Amazon fish display.

Though not as popular as Dameisha beach, Xichong is just as lovely and the water and sand are clean and perfect for swimming.
DongChong to XiChong hiking is a must, takes 5-6 km and usually 4-5 hours. If able get there befor a sun rise, ideally overnight stay will allow be the first on the trails before the masses arrive ( on weekends). Both beaches are amazing, fine sand, cleaned, great for surfing and sun bathing even in winter months. XiChong beach is longer although completely wild and all buildings were raised down. Good hiking equipment is recommended as it can get steep and slippery ! Taking a boat back is RMB 100 per person or black taxis 80 per trip.
