We have been to Mauá 2 or 3 times before, but just now we visited Alcantilado. It was a very nice experience. There is a fee for admission, but it is worthed, because the place is very beautiful, and and very well taken care of. The main pathway up the moutain is safe and easy to follow, the 9 waterfalls are just beautiful, most of them include natural swimming pools where you can relax, the view from the last waterfall up the mountain is fantastic, and all the nature around gives a perfect atmosphere. Alcantilado is definitely a must in Mauá.

In the region of Visconde de Mauá, Parque Corredeiras is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy a day of adventure or even relaxing in the midst of so much natural beauty. The Park is surrounded by native vegetation of Atlantic Forest, has gardens with bromeliads, orchids, papyrus and several other plants! Two rivers run through the space, forming small natural pools leaving the scenery even more beautiful and allowing the descent of buoys through the rivers and swim in a crystal clear water. With a beautiful area of 50 thousand m², the park has a snack bar, restaurant, children's playground and adventure sports activities for all ages, such as buoys, zip lines, rope climbing, tree climbing, abseiling, slingshot and trails .
