A fantastic day out enjoying the Hawk and Owl encounter. A beautiful place in a fantastic location and an unforgettable experience with friendly knowledgeable staff Jo and Emily getting to meet lots of beautiful birds of prey and getting to fly 5 different kinds of them. The centre also does lots of well needed conservation work with wild birds of prey too. Would highly recommend and am definitely planning a return visit.

Having just completed the entire 15 miles of this excellent route in stages, I returned to do the whole walk in one effort. I got dropped off in Kingsthorpe and began my walk passing the tracked section as well as the old signal box before continuing towards Boughton. There are several places to park on route including a decent sized car park at Maidwell and a smaller one near the Kelmarsh tunnel where the old station was located. The walk took me 6 hours and I thoroughly enjoyed the first and last sections best, the last section was Oxendon to Little Bowden where the path ends by a busy road. The only thing missing was a drinks/snack wagon and toilet facilities are practically non existent apart from the few nearby pubs along the way.Perhaps not the most attractive route I have completed but still really enjoyable with beautiful countryside to be enjoyed.

Bikes all ready to go & happy to swap one that was the wrong size. Good information about the route & perfect distance around the reservoir for the novice in our group. Beautiful spot, will come back & hope for more sun & less rain!

If you're planning a stag or hen party, team building activity, corporate fun day, or just want to come along for a fun day out, Whilton Mill is the place to be.
I recently attended whilton mill for my stag do. With covid canceling my previous booking, it was really easy to rebook a separate date. When we arrived we was all temperature tested due to the virus. The staff was very helpful and professional with the current situation. We did the quad bikes and go karting. The variety of places we went on the quads was perfect with all different types of terrain and surfaces. The go karts were amazing, the track is brilliant and the staff are very fair with you on track and as long as your behaving they just left you race. We also used the facilities upstairs and had food with was very well prices and very nice and the balcony looking over the track is a nice touch. Callum and his team were great with is from start to finish.

Superb Saturday watching great rugby against Glos showcasing the international class in both sides. Good food and drink available in the behind the stand, aside choice of good quality food, and real ales direct from the cask as well; along with good humoured and friendly crowd all contribute in making this rugby club; not just a stadium. A great family afternoon.
