Mullion Golf Club

Reviewed By scottbarnsl

If you are down in Cornwall this course is a must play, you will not be disappointed. I have played all the classic links in UK some memorable some not so much, but I won’t forget mullion, firstly the condition is a credit to the green keepers, the layout is great and you see the sea from most holes and thirdly the challenge of playing some holes the like you will not have played before, the views from all of the course are fantastic and would be hard to bettered anywhere. It’s good value for money I have played far worse courses where the green fee is triple. A course that should be ticked on your playlist, will defo play again.

South West Coast Path Walk- Mullion Cove to Lizard Point & Village

This 7 mile moderate walk along the South West Coast Path is from the picturesque Mullion Cove, along the wild and exposed cliffs of the west coast of the Lizard Peninsula. Pass beautiful sheltered coves, including Kynance Cove, before reaching Lizard Point, the southernmost point of mainland Britain.

Mullion cove is great for a days activity. Great for kayaking around the clear waters and rocky coves. Safe for swimming and jumping off the harbour walls on high tide. Small cafe available with nice ice creams. Great fun for all and safe for kids.

Whealdream Golf and Football Golf

A fun 18 hole football golf and 9 hole golf course over a 25 acre site. Beautiful views and a restaurant too! Football golf is like crazy golf but with a football, with obstacles and challenges and scored like golf. A great fun activity for all ages, from 3 to 93. The par 3 golf offers a challenging, well maintained course with a view of the sea.

With the weather being a bit changeable we decided to visit Whealdream Footgolf and try and entertain ourselves with an 8,10,18yr old - On arrival we were met by Josh (who turned out to be a superstar!) and decided to have a drink whilst the rain past, subsequently we ordered 2 cream teas, cokes and a lovely local ale recommended by Josh, everything was lovely and beautifully presented. The footgolf was a real treat and very different to the standard course and raised lots of really good challenges. Having built up a hunger we decided to eat and to say the food was beautiful would be an understatement amazing all round This place is well worth visiting and the hospitality is second to none since our arrival in Cornwall - as mentioned a special thank you to Josh who made our day really enjoyable Thanks you! And we’ll be back soon Ryan - Clare and family
