Travellers normally regret when they have to leave, wanting to stay a few more days. Our tours vary in length and difficulty, suiting people of all levels. Had an amazing ride this evening in the most beautiful landscape. Good horses, also for beginners, and the owners were so kind and generous with their knowledge about the area. Will definitely recommend this activity!!

If you have a 4wheel drive you can get directly there ,otherwise you have to walk for few kilometers or hope that someone gives you a lift. It was a cloudy day and no one was there, exept for a couple which we given a ride. A short walk to get there from the parking,a lovely view of the river before seeing the waterfall. You see it from a high point of view , but if you want you can walk down and climb a bit, beware because it could be a bit dangerous. The waterfall il very nice, you can see the falling water swell by the power of the current .

We are a small family business including about 25 Siberian Huskies, grandmothers, grandfathers, our children, Bergþóra, Sæmi and more close family members. All of our dogs are friendly (sometimes a little bit to friendly...), they love to exercise and the attention they get from our guests. It is great to be out on the trail with our amazing sled dogs in the beautiful nature close by Lake Myvatn, North Iceland. In winter we offer dog sledding tours and Kennel visits, in summer we offer cart rides and kennel visits.

What an utterly beautiful, amazing place! Even in the changing landscape of Iceland, this place is unique in its own right. As we walked through a little silver birch forest, marvelling at its gentle glow in the setting sun, the lake suddenly appeared in front of us with its unusal rock formations, looking like they had been sculpted by a giant's hand. A circular walk led us past many picturesque spots, well worth the visit. To think we nearly missed the place!

The 13 Icelandic Yule Lads (santa clauses) live in Dimmuborgir, Iceland. The Yule Lads have made Dimmuborgir their home. Dimmuborgir is an enchanting area to explore on a nice summer day. Visiting Dimmuborgir at Christmas time, however, is truly magical. The landscape takes on a different look in its winter garb & that is the time when the Icelandic Yule Lads who reside in Dimmuborgir become active. Visiting them in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience for children of all ages.
